Brilliant service, all clean and friendly

We called Elliot to advise us on the damp issues we were having with our early 1900s home. He was very helpful and professional right from the first visit. We followed his advice and had the recommended work carried out which we could not be happier with. It was far from a straightforward job with some pauses in between while we had new skirting board made. I can't speak highly enough of the work that Elliot and Diego carried out. At every stage they explained exactly what was being done and why and made a point of making sure we were happy with the work. They stripped back, damp proofed, re-plastered and re-painted two walls, as well as replacing skirting boards and re-painting those, in the affected room downstairs. They also carried out mould removal treatment and re-painting in an upstairs bedroom. When it came to re-fitting the new skirting board Elliot made sure to bring in a carpenter to guarantee the best possible finish. They were friendly and professional. We couldn't have wished for better service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Eco Shield.

There was no hard sell, just an honest appraisal of the issues and recommendations that we might want to consider. We’ve had a piv unit installed, which was done efficiently. From the start when we first met Elliott when he came to assess the work for the quote he was knowledgeable, clear in his explanation of what needed and very friendly. The guys who came to do the work, were professional, friendly, polite and extremely tidy. Cleaning after themselves at the end of the working day. Where more work was required due to unforseen problems, a fire place uncovered with out a lintel to support the chimney, the work required and additional cost was discussed and agreed. Elliott kept the costs as low as possible as this was unforseen work. I have no trouble in recommending them and if required I will use the again.
