Damp Solutions UK Ltd

Great survey provided by Damp Solutions. Very efficient & speedy so we could proceed with buying our new property. Definitely recommend! Ellie Harvey

Brilliant experience with the guys from Damp Solutions. From the initial damp and timber report, quickly sending over quotes to then completing the work they have been very helpful. Great, friendly communication throughout and prompt with booking in the work, even so close to Christmas. Would highly recommend & thank you once again!

I recently bought a house and, like many homeowners, the dreaded damp issue came up on the survey. I contacted this company and immediately felt reassured that a proper, thorough assessment would be carried out. Ben came to do the inspection and provided an incredibly detailed 50-page report with photos covering every single area. When I called for a follow-up, the person on the phone took the time to explain everything clearly in plain English and went through all the recommendations with me. I decided to book them in for the remedial works, and both team members who came were professional, friendly, and impressively quick. I honestly can’t recommend this company enough. I have no idea about these things — I work as a solicitor, so being able to trust Ben and his team completely meant a lot. A special mention also to Steven, who was fantastic throughout.

Dale and Dan did a brilliant job. Minimal mess and they cleared up after themselves.

Great service from beginning to end. Communication was fantastic, went above and beyond to help get the job done, work was completed efficiently and left clean and tidy afterwards. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Thanks for a stress free high quality job done.

Really pleased with the work Ben and his crew did on my outhouse. Quality of the end product was top notch and I was kept up to date with what was happening. Everyone I dealt with was polite and professional. Would definitely use them again and would recommend.

Damp Solutions provided an excellent and very reasonably priced service.

The guys were great they spent 2 days here got on with the job and cleaned everything up after very friendly and good service

Fast, professional and personable from the first call to the free quotation visit. Would highly recommend.

Really professional work. Performed a survey, created a detailed report, and worked with us, in face-to-face visits, to figure out anything that we did or didn’t need doing. Physical work carried out with little fuss and went above and beyond being very helpful with specific requests that arose during the work. Would recommend to anyone.

Had a brief call with this firm and they gave me some very useful advice although I didn’t go on to use them as they didn’t provide the service I needed.

Contacted this company as I thought we had numerous damp issues. On the initial visit we were reassured these were not damp issues which required any work. Appreciate the knowledge and advise given, without pushing unnecessary work.

Great from start to finish, damp survey completed thoroughly and quickly along with a quote for work to be done; Dale and Damien were easy to communicate with and great at responding to emails, and Steven did a great job plastering the house considering how tricky the corners were. Thanks again! 😊

Great job. Dale assessed the problem and explained clearly what needed doing in a professional way. Steve carried out the work so well, going the extra mile to be helpful (marking where rawplugs were for shelves he had to remove). Turned up on day arranged. Highly recommend, good value professional job

We had a wet brick internal wall damp proofed back in Sept. They said the work would be completed in a day and it was, with a hour or so of remedial work within the next few days. The work was fairly messy because the wall had to be stripped of existing plaster, but the mess was well isolated with sheets and screenings. The results look good with a hard to detect join with the original plaster. A big thankyou to Dale and the team.

Great company for a damp course very efficient, highly recommend them.

Great service from start to finish. Really pleased with the consultation and the fitting.

Phoned up these guys and spoke to Dale Dale came round give us a good quote and his lads ste and kane are currently doing an excellent job on my house nice set of lads aswell would highly recommend damp solutions uk 🙂👍

Great job done damp proofing the 2 lads were very professional and did the work required in a timely manner, minimal mess would certainly recommend this company.

Dales team were great Thorough and very tidy Excellent job and would highly recommend

Ben, Dale, Mike & the team have been amazing. The communication throughout has been brilliant, total transparency and very reasonably priced. The damp proof work has been done to a really high standard and the guys were always considerate of keeping the house tidy after they finished for the day. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Great team, came pre purchase for a survey- very efficient and affordable. Then completed work in two days- even hoovered afterwards. Very friendly and responsive. Work seems of good quality too.

Really impressed by the service from Damp Solutions. The original qoute provided by Dale was very reasonable and came with a detailed report of the damp proofing work that needed doing and what was involved. The work was carried out by Kane and the team who did a great job. Very curtious, tidy, and efficient. I even managed to work from home throughout the week while they were here! Left the place nice and clean afterwards too - couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Thank you for all your help, you went above and beyond not only helping with the issue I contacted you for but also other parts of the house that have now been caught before they become a problem. Everyone was so helpful, tidy and efficient. I wouldn’t hesitate in using them again if I ever needed to or recommending to anyone else. Thank you 😊

From meeting Dale at my parents house to the finish of the job, Dale has been brilliant, such a lovely young man, he was lovely with my elderly parents, went above and beyond to assist them with the job they needed doing, his knowledge is outstanding. Everything was done professionally and everything was explained and put in writing, so you know exactly what your getting for your money, the lads turned up to do the job and fully respected mum and dads house, they worked hard to complete it in one week, a fantastic company and owner, I would highly recommend Dale and his work lads to anyone, thank you so much for your empathy to my parents and their plight.

Great communication from Dale & Steve throughout. They came when they said they would, it cost what they said it would, they did a great job and left the house clean and tidy. Happy to recommend.

Dale and his team did a fantastic job. Dale provided a thorough estimate and delivery timeline, both of which were met, and his team were courteous and punctual each day. They took care to minimise mess and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was done, which massively reduced the stress for me! Thanks chaps.

From start to finish I was impressed with Damp Solutions Uk - Dale was knowledgeable and explained in full the issues with damp in my property, sent me a proposal with full details of all work required within 48hrs inc costings I knew exactly what was getting done and in what time scale. All work was done correctly and Daniel who completed the work did it perfectly and left the house immaculate would recommend to anyone. Thanks Damp Solutions Uk Craig from Stockport.

Dale was really helpful and gave some sound advice about the damp around my bay window. It was great to see that he wasn't looking just to charge what he thought he could get away with. Would highly recommend.

Had a damp proof course completed in January. The team were very professional & we would highly recommend them. The work was started & completed in the time they said it would be & was really clean and tidy considering how dirty the job is. Great work thanks 😊

I highly recommend Damp solutions for their quick response, efficiency and honesty when dealing with our enquiry. On top of this, their inspection is carried out professionally on time, providing us with detailed explanations and a conclusion. Dale was very honest and professional and we were provided with a very good experience. - Nora

I used Damp Solutions to get a PIV fitted and to get a rising damp issue resolved. From start to finish I’ve been happy with their communication the work they’ve done. I’d definitely recommend.

Five stars from me. Ken and Steve did a fantastic job !! Thank you.

Dale came and said we needed expensive damp proofing. The house already has damp proofing and the wet walls happened suddenly so there has to be some other root cause. He didn’t even mention the blocked-up air bricks - my tenant’s dad noticed this and was a better “specialist”. Going with Damp Detectives instead cos they don’t sell anything

Ben and Dale at Damp Solutions have been brilliant. I’ve had multiple jobs done over the years and have happily recommended them to others. They are prompt, professional, straightforward and always get back to you in a timely manner. Lovely team

I contacted Dale because of a rising damp issue in our home. They were very professional from the start and put our minds at ease straight away. The work was started and finished when they said it would be and the guys that did the job were really clean and tidy considering how dirty the job is. Dale is a great guy to work with, and says all the right things that a customer would want to hear. I would have no hesitation in recommending Damp Solutions UK.

Excellent service, called back and visited on time reliable. Would recommend and use again thank you

Very neat and tidy work. Excellent quality and attention to detail. Very competitive price.

Fantastic set of guys, professional, friendly and fantastic work 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great service at very short notice. Absolutely recommend Dale

I contacted Damp solutions about some damp in the basement of a house I am buying, I spoke to Dale who was very helpful. Because I don't know the property I didn't know what would be the best option going forward so Dale made an appointment & went to see what could be done. He gave me sound advice and was really very open about my options. He was not in any way pushy and was very kind to have done the check without asking for payment. I would recommend them highly and if anything does come up in the future I would have no hesitation in using them.

Great job done today, friendly and efficient service from start to finish and so tidy. Thanks guys.

Dale was absolutely brilliant at putting our mind at ease after we contacted Damp Solutions about some issues we were having with our bathroom and ventilation. He offered solutions to the problem and talked us through how we can avoid the issues in the future. We were able to get an appointment only a day after contacting. Great service and would recommend.

This is the second time I have used this company. Damp Solutions UK do what you pay for, for a fair price in a realistic tie window. They arrived on time (8am) and completed the job in the agreed 4 days. Damp proofing is a very messy/dirty job. Each evening our home was left as tidy as was reasonable for the messy/dirty job - removing rubble and hoovering. The team are polite and respectful of both me and our home. Would very happily recommend the company to friends and family, and particularly any women who are nervous of hiring trades people.

We have had some work done by damp solutions Uk before moving into our first home some of the work that was produced by them was shocking! Problem after problem with them with what they have done and with the price that they charge doesn’t justify the standard of work that they produce. Would not recommend this company to anyone!

We hired Damp Solutions UK after moving in and requiring damp proofing and some flooring which required treating underneath for moisture. I was really impressed with Ben and the team: work was on time and on schedule which is often difficult to find in tradespersons. Communication was great and Ben kept me informed of progress and any issues which had previously been discussed at our survey, even helping me out with a very small plastering job which hadn’t been previously discussed. They left the house as clean/tidy as could be and showed respect for our belongings. I would highly recommend and would use again.

Top service from Ben, Danny, Damian and Dale - excellent job done swiftly, lovely clean up afterwards and most of all - a really lovely team who all take pride in their work and teamship. Great price for job to! cheaper than other quotes and same guarantee! I actually enjoyed having them all in my home! I can see this business going from strength to strength - bloody lovely guys- THANKS SO MUCH GUYS - REALLY APPRECIATE EVERYTHING! Michelle and Ciaran.

I would just like to say that this company are very professional I would especially like to thank Dale and Danny who done our damp problem they were both very good I couldn't fault the work done over 3 days they cleaned up every night took all the rubbish away . On the last day they left it clean and easier for me to sort out . Thanks lads 👍👍

I had rising damp fixed round our fireplace in a period property and the room re-plastered. I couldn’t be happier with the work completed by Ben. It’s been completed to a high standard and they were friendly, very tidy and completed it in a great timescale. I found Ben to be reliable and would definitely recommend!

Ben was a great choice for damp-proofing and additional plastering works to my house. He was particularly good at keeping me informed along the way. He provided a detailed quote and I was happy to proceed and leave all the works under his care.

Did a great job damp proofing our kitchen- very professional, friendly and efficient. Took care to keep as tidy as possible and we appreciated them protecting all our surfaces etc. Would recommend!

Great friendly service , very professional, top quality survey works, installation team were very clean , tidy, and quick. Not had any issues since. Highly recommended

Extensive experience, professional, trustworthy, reliable - can't ask for better

We've used Ben as our plasterer for years, ever since he started up working for himself. He skimmed the whole of our last house, and is making his way through our current one (at the speed I can decorate it!) Why do we still use Ben? Because nothing has changed; he arrives to quote when he says he will, is polite and friendly, delivers the quote on time, and is competitively priced, does an excellent job and leaves no mess. One of his lads, Mitchell, skimmed our landing and bedroom ceiling yesterday and did a cracking job, a real credit to the company. Will never use a different plasterer.

These guys are amazing. I was quite worried about the peeling paint in my house. Ben reassured this could be fixed and was thorough in his explanation and quote. The team arrived on time were lovely and were meticulous in covering and protecting my home. They cleaned up before leaving and explained the work they had carried out: I would recommend them they have a lot of experience and knowledge and made me feel really comfortable. Thank you for your hard work.

We chose Damp Solutions in December 2020 to get some preventative damp proofing work done in the house we just moved in. I can’t really recommend them, it seemed like the two guys that were doing the work, were doing it for the first time in their lives. The damp proofing they have done seems ok, however they severely lack experience in finishing the wall after damp proofing. Some examples of the problems we had after they did the work - wall being angled at 3-5 degrees, external corner not being even close to 90 degrees, radiator being reinstalled too low meaning the skirting board no longer fits. They initially used carpet protectors when replastering however later on it ripped and they left couple of red stains on the carpet from the plaster. Had to get Ben to send someone else twice to rectify the issues however we still found more problems after a while. We didn’t try to go for the cheapest company we found hoping for a good quality finish but alas.

After scratching our heads, wondering how we could eradicate the moisture in our walls, we called in Ben's team at Damp Solutions, who had expert knowledge in dealing with rising damp in period properties. They are specialists in thier trade and managed to cleanly, successfully and cost effectively damp proof the entire ground floor of the house in a special lime render. The work was of an extremely high standard, the crew worked hard to finish the job in good time and I was impressed with the results. You also get a workmanship guarantee that lasts for years. You have rescued a piece of history for us, thank you so much.

Arrived on time, everyone was very polite and friendly throughout. Quality of work seems to be excellent and they accommodated a few small changes we requested without problem. Really impressed with how well they kept on top of cleanliness on a daily basis and particularly at the end. Dealing with Ben has been easy from the start and I would highly recommend Damp Solutions UK.

Excellent service, turned up on time, everything covered in dust sheets including carpets, cleaned up before they left. Highly recommended

Damp Solutions came and installed insulation through two rooms in our house to help deal with a black mould problem. Ben was really communicative and responded quickly and clearly to any queries. Whether it was Ben doing the work or people in his team, everyone was polite, on time, and worked to a good standard.

Professional service and great job done. Can definitely recommend

Damp Solutions were very timely with quoting and completing the work required. We had some masonry and timber treatment done in our cellar and the site was left very tidy too. We were going through a re-mortgage which required documentation as evidence of the work completed and Ben provided everything we required. The advice that Ben provided was clear and communication in general was also excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Damp Solutions. Excellent job.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Damp Solutions to family and friends ,fantastic job done
