DTD Damproofer Ltd

The person I bought my house from had damp warranty, so my house survey flagged up damp all downstairs - DTD came and had a look. I had 3 quotes elsewhere the other 3 companies all picked up the same damp issues. Whilst DTD only picked up a small amount. I believe the reasoning to be because this was under there warranty they didn’t want to do the full works again. Needless to say, I used a different company

Had this company do a servey on a property with a badly fitted ako drain above the damp course, the water is not redirected to another drainage system a meter away from the problem?, water pooling alongside the side of the property causing very bad smells inside the property. I had a letter back saying no problems at the property whatsoever???,

I’m very happy with the work completed and the professionalism from the day of the initial survey to today when I received the post-work 30 year guarantee (without prompting from me). As a single female, I often find people in the trade try to take advantage of my apparent lack of knowledge when providing quotes. DTD treated me with respect from day one and provided a very reasonable quote which was 10% of the price of another company who misquoted me. My only suggestion for improvement would be that they only do the actual damp work, and do not have recommended companies to do other general building work which is required before/after the damp proofing. This made organising a date very tricky for me. However, I am very happy with everything else. Thank you for taking a big weight off my shoulders.

Used this company three times over the years on different properties I’ve rented/renovated and great service and good value. Quoted 4 times more expensive by Pure Maintenance ( a competitor)
