We recently had Benecks complete a damp proof course, and we couldn't be happier with the service they provided. They arrived on time every day, were professional, friendly, and worked efficiently throughout the job. The team talked us through every step of the process, explaining what they were doing and why, which really helped us understand the work and put our minds at ease. This was especially appreciated as my mum is currently going through treatment, so having such considerate and reassuring people in the house made a real difference. They were also lovely with our dog, which was a nice touch! The work was carried out to a very high standard, and they made sure the job was done properly from start to finish. We would highly recommend Benecks to anyone looking for reliable, knowledgeable, and caring professionals. Thank you for such an excellent job!

Complete new kitchen fitted including floor and wall tiles. Fitted by Craig and Alan in 5 days. Quality units from Howdens. Nothing to much trouble. I cannot recommend the company highly enough. 5 star. Very, very pleased.

One of their drivers crashed into my car jumping a traffic que and was rude and inconsiderate. Had 2 children and the family dog in the car he showed no interest in their well being. Have since contacted the (boss) with no joy. If this is how they conduct themselves on the road and dealing with people then I would definitely think twice about contracting them for (professional) services.

These cowboys came to work at my apartment block. They left a wonderful mess and also stored metal pipes behind my car. Now my car has a dent that wasn't there before, but of course Beneck's are denying any fault or taking any responsibility for the damage. Oh, and the estimate to repair the damage is almost £200.00 ! I'll be keeping a close eye on their workers if they return to finish the work, but I certainly wouldn't hire them personally. Every person I've spoken to about this company has nothing but negative comments about them. I'm surprised they're still in business.

I would not recommend Beneck Preservations to anyone who needs damp proofing or plastering work done. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and incompetent. I hired them in 2021 to treat and repair the dampness and mould on my wall and chimney breast. They did a poor job, left most of the wall untreated and damaged, and charged me for work they didn't do. I had to call them back several times to fix their mistakes, but they only made things worse. They tried to cover up the problem with paint and other cheap solutions, but the dampness and mould kept coming back. They finally admitted they needed to do the same work they should have done in 2021, but they wanted to charge me extra for it. They refused to take responsibility for the replastering they should have done in the first place. They have wasted my time and money, caused me a lot of stress and frustration, and have not honoured their original agreement or guarantee. They have not provided any evidence or explanation for their poor service and misleading practices. They are a rip-off and a scam. Do not trust them or hire them. You will regret it. --- However, now in 2024, after threats to report them to the Ombudsman, TrustMark, and the Property Care Association, Beneck came through with remedial work. They returned to the property, removed the entire affected area, added a damp proof course, and replastered. The repointing outside is still outstanding, pending better weather. The workmen were lovely people. Unfortunately, my negative experience remains with the management. They are still terrible at communication and simply shut down when there is any disagreement. This is not a healthy approach. I hope they can learn that providing subpar and less work than a surveyor reports is unacceptable. If issues are not properly remedied, people will not accept living with a subpar experience when paying for a full service. That's the end of the negativity. The workforce has changed my mind, and the company has earned my grace after a three-year battle.
