I was recommended Stuart from Willow Construction by a friend from work. Like most people I’m a little skeptical using builders I’ve never met especially when it comes to inviting them into my home to do major structural work and parting with my hard earned Cash. I was looking to create an extra bedroom due to my expanding family and initially requested a quote for a loft conversion. This wasn’t possibly due to the height in my loft, but Stuart came up with some great alternatives and was very knowledgeable on how I could achieve my desired goals. Stuart wasn’t the only builder that I had round for quotes. He was however the most interested in what I wanted to do. Unlike other builders who visited the house he really took time to listen to me and my needs. He spent a lot of time at my property looking at different alternatives and suggesting different cost saving options. This was a breath of fresh air as some of the builders just looked like they we’re going through the motions to give me a quote with no actual care of my personal requirements. I felt that Stuart really cared about the project. I believed he would do a good job and treat my house and family with respect while working. He even devised a way of removing 2 chimney breasts from bedrooms with minimal disturbance to my family while other builders we’re suggesting I remove all my furniture into storage and move out! I wasn’t wrong to hire Stuart and his team! Firstly, his quote was very competitive. Secondly from the 1st day Stuart kept me abreast with all the work that was being done reassuring me at every turn. Stuart’s team where extremely friendly, polite and respectful. At the end of everyday they cleaned up after themselves and made sure we we’re happy before leaving. The final result that Stuart and his team have achieved is unbelievable, it is better than I expected and all within budget. Stuart went above and beyond to keep myself and my partner happy. There was many occasions he could have taken an easier route but he didn’t. He made suggestions that effectively made his life more difficult but my end finished result more spectacular. I can’t recommend Stuart and Willow Construction enough. In fact, I will be having him back in the New Year to completely rebuild my bathroom.
