Mark Mansfield (MM) CARPENTRY LTD

Terrible. Hired Mark to fit a handrail on our staircase. Don't be fooled by a good first impression. He left the job half finished and has failed to return since. We bought our own materials and he took half of them with him and has completely ignored all contact since. Left handrail a mess with sharp pins sticking out the top. This is the first time I have ever been ghosted by a tradesman. Total lack of integrity, unprofessional and unreliable. Still advertising for new business on social media whilst ignoring jobs he has already started.

Brilliant to work with and did a wonderful job with our doors. Highly recommend and Mark communicated so well with us and went above and beyond

I can't speak highly enough of Mark. His service was 10/10 from start to finish. I used Mark's services to fit some new doors for me and honestly was so impressed with his work. Highly recommended.

Mark and his crew did superb work on our major interior doors' replacement project. Everyone was highly professional - very friendly, polite, respectful to us and our property. We particularly appreciated Mark's punctuality and timely communication. The quality of work is superb, the new doors look amazing. With many thanks to Mark and all his crew - Tom, Steph and Mark's wife for the amazing job you did for us. We absolutely recommend this business, and will be very happy to work with Mark again.

Shoutout to Mark! Done a phenomenal job with my doors👌🏽 A very quick and easy process plus a very friendly guy. Will definitely use his services again when needed. Thanks once again mate 😁

What a pleasure it was to deal with this company, contacted them on Friday and Tom arrived first thing Monday morning. The quality of his work and the care taken was exceptional, above and beyond, and at a very competitive price.

Mark completed a Fire Door to Building Regulations for us last week. We could not have asked for a more efficient and friendly service from initial quote through to completion of the FD30 door. Mark took great attention to detail at all stages discussing the numerous options. His wealth of experience consistently reassured us that we had chosen a confident and skilled carpenter. We are now planning a further carpentry project with him.

We asked Mark to refurbish our waiting room in our boutique dental practice, and we could not be more impressed with the results, the quality of work, the time-frame, the accuracy of the quote, the comprehensive nature of his approach, his (and his team’s) communication, and his professionalism. Absolutely blown away, and an absolute pleasure. He is a huge credit to the industry, thank you very much 🙏

Came to our Centre to maintain 39 chairs, ensuring they met all Health and Safety standards. The service was prompt, professional, and carried out to an excellent standard. Highly recommended!

Fab comms from Mark and excellent service from Tom installing our new door. Tom fitted the door quickly and helped tidy up and move our old door. Professional but super friendly service. Would use again!

Avoid! This guy took £1000 down payment for door and fitting 3 months ago. He has ignored all contact for the last month, including requests for a refund. He presents himself well and appears trust worthy but clearly this is not the case. We are now having to precede with debt recovery.

Having used Mark previously for some work . When We found Ourselves in need of a Carpenter I thought We would use Someone reliable . Asked for a quote sending via email as requested photos and measurements of work needed . 7 Days later no response . I'm appalled at the lack of curtsey shown not even a sorry Om to busy with work cannot take on more . Well I won't be asking for any quotes in the future . Thanks for making a stressful time even worse.

Very pleased with the professionalism, honesty and work. We had a particular problem with a front door which would not shut. They responded quickly and calmly and sorted the problem out. No hesitation in using them again.

Fast reliable and very friendly good prices too !

Contacted Mark for a quote for some carpentry work that I needed doing at my property. His response was condescending and quote was excessively high.

Very polite person and did a very good job on my doors

We had a handrail fitted and are very pleased with its appearance and the good service given

Professional, punctual and responsive. He scarificed a Sunday morning to carry out his promise of door trimming. The rates are very competitive as well.

We urgently needed a job doing in our kitchen and I came across Mark Mansfield Carpentry on google search. We was very impressed with the swift response, Tom came with great professionalism and finished the job with great quality and value. Thanks again Tom!! We absolutely recommend their service's. A big 5 stars from us!!!

Got my doors fitted by Tom, nice, friendly and a perfect job!

Fitted my aunties kitchen worktops. Good quality work for a good price. What more could you ask for. Will definitely be calling again when I need some more work doing.

Very professional and efficient service for fitting our IKEA furniture with custom modifications. Mark was efficient getting back with a quote and provided quick response to queries. Tom who came to fit was friendly, provided expert advice, kept me informed throughout the fitting, great attention to detail and finished the job within a day! Would recommend to others.

Brilliant job. Would highly reccommend. 2 great guys.

I'd use Mark and Tom again without hesitation. Some people are difficult to work with - not these two. They're really nice lads and they want to do their best work for you. Their attention to detail is refreshing. Installation day is always stressful regardless of how simple or organised a job is. Mark and Tom made it so much easier because I knew they cared about every detail we discussed. Use them. You won't be disappointed. 👍🏼

I needed 2 internal doors fitting, rang MM to arrange, he scheduled me in 2 days, unfortunately the weather put the job off for a couple of days because they set up to do the work outside, i was kept up to date all the time with a possible time to do the work. When Matt the fitter came he was very professional, polite and worked quickly, just over 2 hours, a good job done we are really pleased with the finished doors, would definitely use them again.

Excellent service from Mark and his team. I would highly recommend this company.

Came across Marks posts on Facebook and contacted him to supply and fit 7 Oak Doors. He matched to existing doors and handles spot on, and fitted on a Saturday. Many thanks to Tom, Mark & Charlotte for their excellent service and already looking to use them for future projects

I called for a quote on Saturday afternoon and by Sunday morning 8:30am Tom was here to save the day! Absolutely amazing service as we moved into a house and needed 6 doors shortening so they they would close with our new carpets. Tom arrived on time and had a smile on his face the entire time and was extremely friendly and even was happy to have our 2 year old saying hello when he was working away. Top notch service and can’t thank them enough for the job, affordable too. Very happy customers and will use again recommend to others. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you 😊

Tom was very professional and thorough when hanging our double doors and fitting our arch’s and skirting. He even came in the evening and went the extra mile by staying late and correcting some previous worked we’d had done. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant fitting and done super fast!! Thank you

I'm really grateful for MBM who came on a Bank Holiday to do an all day job fitting new cupboard doors and handles in our bedrooms. It was done with precision and care, and they were professional and courteous throughout. Communication was excellent throughout. I'd highly recommend them and will be giving them a call in the near future for some more jobs

Massive thanks to Mark for coming on short notice and fitting my dads worktops in his kitchen, top job, top bloke wouldn't recommend anyone else .. cheers bud

Great work from the Mark and Tom. Short notice on a worktop Installation, arrived bang on time, quality workmanship, highly recommend!

Icl the people here are npcs fr "it was great experience" c'mon bro be different

Had mark out today to fit worktops, he went above and beyond, very professional, helpful and friendly, even sourcing a new sink last minute. Would highly recommend. 5**

Fantastic work on our kitchen to freshen it up, on time, non stop working and very organised

Mark made a great job of fitting my kitchen worktops -THANK YOU. Will definitely be using again 👍

We found Mark through social media and having seen his work, we contacted him to replace some glazed doors. Having now completed the work, we are absolutely delighted with the quality of his work and his professionalism. Doors have been really well installed with equal gap all round the frame and operate perfectly. He was punctual and his work was tidy making as little “mess” as possible (obviously you can’t help sawdust when fitting doors!). What stood out the most was how conscientious he was to make sure we were happy with the work. We would happily endorse and recommend Mark. We will definitely use his services again. Thanks Mark

Amazing job done would recommend to anyone 10 out of 10!!! On time very tidy great job!!!

No Drama! Replied to my initial contact email on the same day, gave me a quote on the same day, turned up within a few days when they said they would and did a blummin' good job when they got here... just how things should be!

Very friendly and professional service. Takes genuine care in the finish of the work too. High recommend!

A brilliant experience from a wonderful team. Both Mark and Matt are a pleasure to deal with, and take the greatest of care and respect with everything they do. A great approach from initial contact through to the project, easy to communicate with, and very responsive. Look forward to working again with them in the future.

Mark attended the property to repair a damaged door/frame and install a lock. The communication was brilliant and I was kept updated throughout. He also went out of his way to collect the keys, on route to the job. Mark was thorough and professional. Would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Didn't answer my phone call but rang back very quickly, said he could do what I needed done. Was very professional and respectful, even took his shoes off without asking as he knew we had a new carpet installed! Quick and efficient with the work, no complaints at all. Will use again in the future. Cheers

I called Mark to knock out a wall in my bedroom. He quoted me a really reasonable price and came in the evening to knock the wall out. Really professional job, talked me through what he was going to do and left the place extremely neat - which was impressive considering the messy nature of the job. Whilst he was there I asked if he could do other bits of my house and he came back to quote me on woodwork and bespoke furniture. I am confident that Mark and his team will do a fantastic job based on the professionalism and previous experience I have with him. Look forward to using MBM Joinery for everything home-related! Fantastic team!!

From first talking to Mark regarding the work I wanted doing to then Tom leaving the house who completed all of the work has been brilliant. I cannot recommend MbM Joinery enough!

Mark put us in touch with 1 of his fitter's. The service was completed quickly, professionally and we were made aware of everything that was going to be undertaken. The fitter himself was very polite and completed the job to a high standard with a lot of friendly banter. We even received a phone call from the fitter 2 days later to make sure everything was still ok. Would recommend.

Mark installed all our external fire doors to a very good standard and at a very reasonable cost. Will be using him again for all my internal doors for sure

Fantastic service by Mark. Very professional and caring about job at hand. Had doors fitted, flooring done etc , very pleased with the results!

Mark is a great trade person especially because as the job was finished still came back in his own time to cut and mount the breakfast bar for me even thought didn’t have to would definitely recommend goes out of his way to make the customer happy couldn’t fault anything he does 5 * all around

MbM Joinery is a great company that did a fantastic job installing four bedroom Oak doors . They are very professional and cooperative. I found them on Google. I was quite aprehesive at first as you never know how good their work will be. However, after getting work done I can confidently recommend this company. I will be using them again to install skirting boards and doors in the dining room and living room.

Mark did some joinery work for us. Would definitely use again and recommend. Thanks Sam

Excellent job from the start to finish

Hired to supply front door, back door, french doors and Sash windows. Although Mark appeared professional and well-dressed on his first visit and subsequent visits until the job was confirmed, everything that followed was disastrous. Due to the poor standard of workmanship I had to cancel my contract and have all doors removed and replaced with new doors from a different company. MBM Joinery have an outstanding CCJ due to failure to pay back my deposit and incurred damages. Summary of issues below. 1. Front door incorrectly measured and had to wait for a replacement 2. Replacement front door attempted to be fitted into the original frame and therefore didn't close properly 3. Back door incorrectly measured and wrong pattern supplied 4. French doors incorrectly measured, attempted to fit, and as a result the frame was rendered unusable 5. French doors did not close or lock properly 6. Block-work smashed out of kitchen extension rather than cleanly cut. 7. Fitters didn't arrive as agreed after first delivery 8. Glass for above front door was incorrect size, had to wait for replacement 9. French door fitted out of square 10. Refusal to take phone calls, and to return keys 11. Police report raised in order to get keys to property returned 12. Litter and debris left throughout the house 13. Screws protruding through door frames 14. Floor level above door threshold

got a same day response. full documentation provided. excellent customer care! thanks a lot!

Terrible experience that left me just under £4k out of pocket. MBM Joinery were incapable of the most straight forward door fitting. Mistake after mistake and considerable damage to property. The business currently has a County Court Judgement in my favour and is still refusing to return my deposit. Enforcement Officers have also attempted to recover money, however, MBM Joinery apparently has no assets. I would not employ this "business" to change a lightbulb let alone fit a door.

The professional and courteous maner Mark of MbM Joinery hung our hallway doors was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend.

Very good job done skirting fitted pipes blocked in lovely job.

Responded quickly to enquiry and did a good professional job.

We had Mark Mansfield come to fit a door and he did an excellent job. Very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend

I called this company in hope that someone would come out to my grandmas house and actually give us a quote as she had been let down a number of times all week and had all of her work tops and other appliances in the house sitting there. With in an hour they had sent a lovely man to look at what my grandma needed doing and I felt he really looked after her. The new things was fitted all with in a day and looks absolutely amazing!!!! Thank you for everything you did guys!!! Could t have had a better company come and do that job and also look after my grandma like you did ❤️!

I highly recommend MBM. I have had bespoke cupboards made and fitted, a balastrade installed and flooring laid. All to a very high standard. Very polite and professional.

Me and my husband couldn’t of asked for a better service. We found the guys to be very professional and reliable. The job it’s self was completed to a high standard. Many thanks to MbM Joinery we would highly recommend 👍

STAY WELL AWAY !! Extremely poor and unreliable company. Have been let down by MBM 4 different times. We have cedar cladding reveals falling off, door linings frames bent over an inch out on some, studwork was in places incorrect. Chipboard flooring areas missed and buckling in places. All in all a terrible experience.

Fantastic work done by mark very professional, clean and tidy :)

Mark is an angel! Punctual, professional and personable! One very happy customer! Mrs Booker

First class service, prompt, polite and they clean up afterwards. Recommended 100%
