Paul converted my loft hatch and ladder to a larger size. Very pleased with his promt arrival and workmanship. Didnt rush the job and left everthing neat and tidy afterwards. Very competative price and a very pleasant craftsman. Wouldnt hesitate to use him again and have recommended him to friends.

Had a lift hatch with stairs fitted. Paul came out and measured up, and gave a very reasonable quote very quickly. He explained everything that needed to be carried thoroughly. On the date scheduled he came on time and competed the work efficiently, quickly and tidy. I highly recommend Paul.

Paul is a superb craftsman with traditional values. He is hard working (8-5 every day), friendly and scrupulously clean, always leaving the home every night as it was when he arrived in the morning. Paul re insulated and then boarded my whole loft space, the recommended way - with the boards laid on 17cm pillars to allow ventilation. The loft hatch was extended and a new foldable loft ladder fitted. I highly recommend him to do any carpentry work. Unfortunately the App isn't working as advertised so I cant upload any photos or videos.

Paul was friendly and professional from the start. His quote was quick, and works were carried out as agreed, to a very high standard. Paul, unlike a lot of trades of late, took pride in his work, and left all areas tidy. The work was planned over 4 days, took 4 days, and cost what was quoted. Would highly recommend Paul to anyone needing Carpentry work of all types carried out. I’m getting Paul to quote for further works in the future.

You will never meet a more professional carpenter than Paul. The issue we had with the stair treads and risers was sorted with everything reinstated as was afterwards and no trace the work was ever done - now the stairs treads do not move or make any noise! Well what a joy what a genuine lovely guy a true gent. Loft hatch fitted and supplied along with moving a light fitting, moving pipes and a rafter so we dont bump our heads. Paul returned to carry out additional work In our home and came up with a solution that perfectly met our requirements. He is punctual, a true perfectionist, and extremely clean and tidy in his work. We are very happy with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

If you require a fast, efficient service then I suggest you look elsewhere. Absolute waste of my time and energy. Had this bloke look at a job almost 6 months ago and to date I still have no design or pricing. Despite several e-mails to which he replies to all of them 'I'll get something over to you shortly' I am now both tired and bored of waiting. Poor service - I shan't be using!

Absolutely fantastic job! Paul has done a great job of our extended loft hatch with bespoke pull down ladder. After 30 odd years of using a rickety old step ladder, we finally bit the bullet and asked Paul to install a larger hatch and ladder. He’s proficient, efficient, skilled, quiet, professional, and took great care. He left the job in immaculate condition, tidied up, and most of all, did an absolutely great job! Highly recommended. We wouldn’t hesitate to invite him back for other carpentry jobs.

Paul fitted plinths, pelmet, cornice and appliance doors in our newly installed kitchen. He also constructed a hidden cupboard for my ironing board. His work is spot on, and he was very personable. I would not hesitate to recommend Paul and I'm sure I will be contacting him again for a loft ladder in the future!

Paul has just fitted handrails to our stairs. I cannot speak too highly of his workmanship. He is a perfectionist, and also took considerable trouble to clean up after himself. I cannot fault him and it was a pleasure to have him working in our house.

Paul did an amazing job designing and installing a new wardrobe, enabling me to retain the doors and internal drawers from my old one. He managed to select wood that was an exact match to the doors and the room was spotless at the end of each day.

Paul visited our home a year ago at our request to fit new stairs, but on seeing our old ones, he suggested refurbishing them. We couldn't be happier, they are beautiful. We still get a real thrill every time we see them and silently climb/descend, unlike our old ones you could wake the dead with. We asked Paul to replace all 11 internal doors. After we had chosen the style we wanted all doors and hardware were promptly ordered and work began as soon as they were delivered. Paul wasted no time in transforming the internal appearance of our home. Paul was here when he said he would be and rarely stopped each day he was here. Very thorough with his work and attention to detail. Will definitely use Paul again and cannot recommend enough.

We asked Paul to change our 1960s internal fire door to the garage. We chose an oak door which matched the new bannisters Paul had done for us previously. As always Paul did a very good job and we are very pleased with the results. We would recommend him to anyone.

Our stairs collapsed, in a panic I phoned Paul who was just brilliant. Calmed me down and was round within half hour, explained everything and had a quote to us within hours. He came round the very next day (on his day off!!) and spent the day rebuilding our stairs. He was polite, professional and superb at his job. I had a creaky staircase and called Paul Freeman Carpentry for a quote. Before even visiting my house he explained how noisy staircases can usually be inexpensively repaired quite easily. On visiting and after a quick inspection of my staircase, quoted me a very reasonable fixed price for half a days work. He arrived 9am and went straight to work in a professional manner and then explained the work he had carried out. I am very pleased with the result and would highly recommend his services.

Had Paul fit worktops to my kitchen and utility. The worktops look fantastic great fit and finish. Punctual, clean and tidy and the work was completed on time and in budget. Would highly recommend.

We recently used Paul’s services to fit some doors for us. Absolute great job, Paul didn’t just sling the doors up as you may expect he completed the job to the most professional level. I didn’t know doors could be hung that well they are perfect, there was a lot more involved than just hanging doors and every part was done with care and pride. If Paul can make fitting doors look this professional I can only imagine how good his other work is. Paul does not cut corners, he also cleaned up his work meticulously, so much so it was probably cleaner than what it was before he started. Top bloke aswell. Will use again with out a doubt. 5 Star!!!!!!!!!
