Gary and Graham make an excellant team, first met Gary when he replaced a freezer door in our new build bungalow, when he had fitted the freezer he noticed a tiny mark on the corner of the door and then bought a new door to replace it. Chatted to him and we booked him for more kitchen units, he also fitted bathroom cupboards and three wardrobes with his brother Graham. Quick, efficient, attention to detail, clean up after themselves, friendly and polite. Lovely work. Thank you lads!

Well, what can I say? This is the second time we have had Ideal Carpentry do work for us, and once again, what a superb job! Previously they designed and installed a hallway cupboard and under stairs storage. This time Gary has designed a fantastic unit for the dining room, and the installation has been brilliant. Gary and Graham have been great. They do what they say they will, when they said they will do it. They are punctual hardworking and everything is tidied and cleaned up afterwards. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Gary and Graham worked really hard on installing our oak doors. We couldn't have asked for a nicer team to work on our home. You won't go wrong using this company. We have experienced two dodgy building companies prior to ideal carpentry coming in to finish off. All the team were really friendly and respectful, both to us and our house It was a pleasure to see old school carpentry and workmanship from two brothers that take pride in their work. We recently had some alcove units installed in our living room by Gary and we have just been blown away by the level of craftsmanship, attention to detail and outstanding service we received from Gary and Team. Gary wanted to make everything perfect for us and nothing was too much trouble. The alcove units have exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be happier. It’s such a rare thing nowadays to find people who care about their work, but that’s what you get with Ideal Carpentry. Graham and colleagues are far and away the best we have employed. Graham’s attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship, be it in repairs, cabinet making, tiling or any other service, are second to none, such that every room he has completed will last for a lifetime. He always takes time to explain issues and options, then presents us with options. His recommendations for plumbing and electrics have also proven first class. I warmly recommend Ideal Carpentry to anyone in the Colchester area.
