Reviewers of Bristol Carpentry Contractor Ltd report polite and professional service, with Josh and the team named in several reviews. They describe work including bathroom and toilet doors, fire door upgrades, a kitchen floor and refit, kitchen shelves, loft boarding and insulating, and a ceiling job, with several reviewers reporting good quality and a tidy finish. One reviewer said a kitchen floor laid nearly two years earlier had caused no issues since, and another reported that problems during a kitchen refit were dealt with professionally. One reviewer said the work was held up by slow material deliveries and that communication could improve, while still giving five stars. Several reviewers said they would use the business again or recommend it, and one described the service as competitive, reliable and friendly.
Only good things to say about Josh and Gary. Polite, communicative and did an efficient, smart job. Thank you so much
Josh and his team are very professional completed the task quick and good quality.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great work and professional service! Bristol Carpentry recently installed a bathroom door for me, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The quality of the workmanship was excellent — precise, clean, and done with great attention to detail. They arrived on time, were very polite, and left everything tidy after the job was finished. Highly recommended if you’re looking for reliable and skilled carpenters in the area. I’ll definitely use their services again!
Fire Door Upgrade Service – Professional, Efficient, and Highly Recommended! After struggling to find a reliable company to carry out fire door upgrades on the flat entrance doors to comply with the latest fire regulations, I was relieved to come across Josh at Bristol Carpentry Contractor Ltd. From the start, he was highly responsive, quickly arranging a quote and even adjusting his schedule to accommodate the work as soon as possible. As a UK Fire Doors Training approved installer, Josh and his team bring not only expertise but also a can-do attitude, tackling the challenges of our old building with efficiency. If you need your Fire Doors assessed, upgraded or replaced I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
Really pleased with the work – doors look spot on. Great communication throughout, turned up when he said he would, and kept me in the loop. Proper attention to detail and everything finished to a high standard. Fair price too. Would definitely use him again – highly recommend.

Excellent customer service, listened to what was required quoted then came and completed the work exactly how was requested with a high quality finish. was very clean start to finish. I will be using this service again. Would definitely recommend.
Josh and his team have done an amazing job with our kitchen floor. They removed old flooring, disposed of it and laid new floor really neatly. This was nearly 2 years ago and we had no issues with it ever since. We live in a new build with a basic kitchen. Bristol Carpentry advised on how to make it more useable, sourced materials and added drawers which made it much more organised. Thanks again!
I was very pleased with the work you did on the toilet door. A very professional job and I would definitely recommend you Many thanks
Very pleased with the kitchen refit done by Josh and team. Issues encountered were dealt with professionally and they were happy to help find creative solutions to ensure the job was still completed to a high standard. Pleasant, helpful attitude throughout, would definitely use them again!
Bristol Carpentry were a good team and did a good job at my home. Their work was hindered by slow deliveries for materials but they did their utmost to get things sorted and for the work to be completed. Pleasant and helpful at all times but could improve on communication but deserve 5 stars.
