SB Builders (NW) Ltd

We’re coming towards the end of having a double storey side extension, with a wrap around single story extension which has been lead and built by Sam, Ben and Dave. We got a range of quotes before the build and chose S&B due to their professionalism, the detail that they went into during their visits to us even before we even confirmed we’d be choosing them and seeing their work online beforehand. We have absolutely zero regrets going with S&B - they’ve managed the project brilliantly so far, they were onsite every day working all day long and the extra tradies that they’ve had come in eg electrician, plumber, joiner etc have all been brilliant too. All really friendly and professional. It took a big weight off our shoulders the fact that they use their own in-house tradespeople, which is what we wanted. There were a couple of times that our heating went off during winter but Ben was incredibly helpful coming to fix the situation late in the evenings and on the weekend when it happened - we were so, so appreciative of this. Their work has been done to such a high standard and the surroundings of the property were left clean and tidy each day. Even the neighbours commented on how tidy and hard working they are. We’d 100% work with them again (in fact have already enquired about another extra job) and would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thanks for all the hard work guys!!!

Sam and Ben have just completed a double-storey extension for us in Irlam o’ th’ Height, Salford. Along with their labourer Dave, we couldn’t have wished for three better nor more consistent builders. During the week, they were on-site every day (even in snow!) and when their working day did come to an end, they still messaged us regularly with answers to any questions we might have with this being the first project of this type we’ve embarked on. I worked from home during the build, and they were extremely considerate of me and just a general pleasure to have around the place. The neighbours have also been extremely complimentary of how considerate they have been, remarking how good they are for tidying away every day and for keeping disruption on the street to a minimum despite the extension being quite a big build. Midway through the extension, we went on holiday for two weeks and they went above and beyond to keep the work going whilst we were away; co-ordinating the coming and going of plumbers, plasterers, window fitters etc and regularly attending the site to check everything was OK. It gave us massive peace of mind whilst we were away, and it was incredible to know the house was progressing too! The finished product is what we hoped for and more – they matched the brick perfectly and the new extension serves as a tasteful addition to the original build of the house. We couldn’t be more grateful to Sam, Ben and Dave not only for their incredible work but for how they guided an inexperienced couple in their early 30s through a process that was entirely new to us. We will 100% be recommending them to any friends and family, and, of course, to anyone in the local area.

We've recently had our downstairs living space redeveloped by SB builders (NW) Ltd. During the completion of the work Sam & Ben kept us fully informed of the progress and planned next moves. We had to lose the kitchen whilst the work took place, they did however ensure we has some cooking and washing facilities throught the project. Their level of workmanship was if the highest standard, they also ensured the area was left clean, tidy and safe at the end of their day. We would not hesitate to use them again and are more than happy to recommend their services. Dave & Di Murphy

We recently had a single-storey back and side extension completed by SB Builders, including a kitchen fitting, bathroom renovation, and custom back door design, and we can confidently say they are the best in the business. From the moment they arrived for the initial site visit, we knew we had chosen the perfect company. Their expertise and warmth immediately put us at ease, and their knowledge was second to none. Throughout the project, their communication was flawless. They kept us fully informed at every stage, ensuring we were always up-to-date on progress. When we were unsure about design decisions, such as the placement of wall lights or the back door design, their professional guidance and suggestions were invaluable, helping us make the best choices for our home. SB Builders' craftsmanship and attention to detail were nothing short of exceptional. Every evening, they left the site spotless, maintaining a clean and organised work environment. They were always punctual and worked tirelessly, even sacrificing their own days off to keep things on track. Their dedication and work ethic are unparalleled. Additionally, they limited any impact on our neighbours by being respectful and considerate throughout the entire project. Our elderly neighbour, who can be a bit particular, warmed to them immediately due to their friendly and thoughtful approach. SB Builders exceeded our expectations in every way, and we couldn’t recommend them more highly. They truly deserve a 10/10 for every aspect of their work. If you’re looking for the absolute best, SB Builders is the company to choose. Cheers Louis and Chris :)
