Would highly recommend Designer Living for any building work, extensions etc. they explained the plans perfectly for our extn. With reasonable itemised costs, and are very professional, and put pride in their work. Always clean up after there shift. They are a very friendly team, run by James and his Project Manager Greg, with there labourers Josh, Kintsey, and bricky Adam, and are doing a cracking job.

We recently had our garage converted by Designer Living Group, and we are extremely happy with the entire experience. From the very first conversation, the team—especially Mr. James—was friendly, clear, and helpful. They took the time to understand our ideas and worked closely with us to plan everything according to our needs and our budget. Mr. James was excellent at designing a plan that fit perfectly within our budget without compromising on quality. He and his team completed the work exactly within the estimated timeline and at the agreed-upon quote. The quality of their workmanship and service was truly outstanding. James and his team as always did an amazing job! We had an orangery done by James over 10 years ago and now we’ve transformed the space into an open plan kitchen and living room. Throughout the process, all the tradesmen had great ideas, trustworthy and highly skilled. There was also complete transparency with costs so there were no unexpected surprises and we always had peace of mind. Fantastic experience using designer living and would highly recommend. We made the decision to use a company that didn’t involve friends or family to avoid any issues. We were very impressed with their attention to deal and communication every step of the way. James was really good with the initial meetings and talking us through the steps and the app with the payment structure and stages was really good and modern. Adam and Lewis were always reliable and grafted each day keeping everything on track and talking with the neighbours whenever it was needed. They also created our garden which was not part of the initial scope but they did a fantastic job with our vision and brought it to life. Tom and John were incredible bringing the inside of the house to our full vision after showing them relentless pictures and sketches with what we wanted in each room. Any minor issues were fixed along the way and communication was key to us at the start and this company definitely exceeded our expectations. Weekly emails with the payments that needed to be made was also clear and transparent. The work was fast and high quality and worth every penny of our budget. I would definitely use this team again if we ever had the nerve to do this type of project a second time in the future!

With this final payment - we MUST take this opportunity and it’s our pleasure to say that we couldn’t have asked for a better team of builders to build our extension. You guys have been absolutely amazing. Literally from the very first day when they dropped portable loo outside our home and next day with a massive skip until the very end this morning when last tradesman left the house.. The final finish is absolutely spotless and faultless. It has been beautifully completed. First half of the project done by Adam and his team and the other half done by Tom, John and his team. We really can’t thank enough to Adam and his team. All the hard work that went into build the outside work and all that in this cold freezing weather as well.. hats off to you Mr Adam.. Mr Tom - You literally have nailed it so perfect that even “master of the masters” wouldn’t be able to find anywhere to point the finger. I still can’t believe how everything has finished so quick! James - when you had said 3 months - I genuinely thought it’s going to be well over 4 or 5 or 6 months and we are going to be chasing you again and again and again.. WOW - how amazingly it’s all finished within the agreed timescale of just 3 months!! Even when we talk with our family, friends and other school parents - also, they can’t believe that we are already moving into the new kitchen!! I feel like we can NEVER thank you enough and we will be in debt to you guys forever for delivering a “priceless happiness” of a new kitchen and diner for our family home 🏠 *THANK YOU SO MUCH* - there isn’t any good enough words in dictionary to express our feelings that how happy we are feeling.. Overall very good work by the team. James and his team were very good, friendly and have done commendable work. Richard has been exceptionally brilliant especially in his communication. However, the electricians have been incompetent, arrogant, unreliable and dishonest. They certainly will bring a bad name to the Designer Living Group.

We chose Designer Living based on a recommendation for their quality builds and excellent service — and they didn’t disappoint. Adam, Tom, John, and the rest of the team showed incredible commitment, professionalism, and kindness throughout the entire process. Even when challenges came up, Tom always had a “can-do” attitude and made sure we felt involved in the decisions. He kept us well-informed about timeframes, which was really important in helping us manage expectations as a family. We used Designer Living for a rear extension and a loft conversion. Overall we’re very happy with the end result. James and his team did a fantastic job! Special shout outs to Tom, John, and Adam who worked very hard to give us the finish we wanted. Like any build, there were challenges along the way but Tom was always honest, open, and upfront about them. We decided we wanted to refresh our lounge and add a media wall. James, Paul and their whole team have been absolutely fantastic and given us the beautiful finish we were looking for. They gave us a new ceiling, new coving, new flooring, redecoration and the media wall itself. They listened to all of our ideas but also made some excellent suggestion themselves and we absolutely love the end result! Thank you, Designer Living!

We used Designer Living to remove our conservatory, knock through our kitchen and build an L shaped kitchen extension in its place. On top of this we also had windows throughout the house and the garden landscaped. The fact we could get this all done via one company was a HUGE benefit to us. The work was done really quickly and to a great quality as well. Bear in mind, will there be stressful moments = probably, will there be lots of dust = definitely! Will there be snags and hazards along the way and at the end = probably. But trust in the process that James and his team will get it all done for you in the end. James was so accommodating with niggles and extras and really helped us through it, Rich ,Danny, Paul, Steve, Smig, Ben, Jase, Tim x 2 and everyone else thank you so much you were all great, even though it cost me many cups of tea and packets of biscuits 🤣 This company will do a great job and help you realise your home dreams. Found designer living online and James responded - and visited - quickly to view our garage conversion project. The project was professionally scoped and the team were polite and professional. We had a few challenges and changes from us during the project which caused extensions to the original timings but the team responded to these really well and completed the project to a good finish.

We had Designer Living Group build our new orangery from concept to finished article couldn't be more pleased with it the crew that we had were absolutely fantastic always there and kept us in the loop with any decisions and changes found all of the team from Adam and Ben groundworkers plumber Mitchell electricians Josh and Max painter Sean plasterers Luke and Matt plus the roofing team and a big thanks to Tom and John for everything else found each and everyone of them polite and friendly and helpful and approachable would certainly recommend this firm and this team for your project again a big thankyou from myself and my wife for this Steve and Maria Nunnley Photos to follow when room decor and features sorted

We decided to go with James and his team because we were impressed with the work he carried out for friends and family. We can honestly say that we are not dissapointeed with the result! We had a garage conversion completed with a slight extension and a downstairs WC installed. The finished project is everything and more than we could have imagined. The quality of work completed is second to none, from the builders, tilers, carpenters, plumbers and decorators; the team have done a fantastic job. James is always on hand through calls and messages and continued to provide fresh persepectives and creative ideas throughout the project. His attention to detail and ability to make certain areas look better was something we really appreciated. James, Steve and the team have done a fantastic job of transforming a soggy, damp part of our garden into an amazing new extension. Their attention to detail and turnkey offering meant that everything from build to roofing, kitchen to electrics was taken care of. They even managed to get the job completed before the arrival of our daughter so we could bring her home to a finished home. Couldn't recommend them more highly and will certainly use them again. James and his team recently completed our orangery extension and partial garage conversion. From beginning to end we were impressed with the organisation, communication and management of the job. Every workman we had from groundsmen to electricians and plasterers were all punctual, pleasant and worked to a high standard. We were so impressed with the service we received we asked James and team to complete additional work and landscape the garden adding some fantastic light features. Would most definitely use James and teams services again and would highly recommend.

Firstly, I am the first to admit I am a fussy customer. Affordable Home has been fantastic and bent over backwards to ensure that I am happy with my extension. Yes, granted, there have been a few hurdles to jump over as there were some unexpected issues (what project is ever plain sailing?) - However, Affordable Home quickly resolved these issues. Thank you to all the team for your hard work - we are very happy with our new extension.

Wow just Wow.... We can't Thank James and all of the Lads involved in transforming our house in to the stunning home it is today. We've had a full reconstruction of the downstairs with a beautiful corner less extension to the back,its turned out better than we could have ever imagined! We have had James Richard and their team carry out a double extension on our property. From the point of sale to the end result they’ve been nothing but outstanding. The whole process has been managed through Richard and James and their app which has made everything so smooth and hassle free. The staff they’ve sent to ours have been all phenomenal. Clean professional always there to help with and obstacles we’ve encountered there’s always been a resolve.
