Tulloch of Cummingston Limited

Tulloch of Cummingston Homes of Distinction, are renowned for their attention to detail, quality of work and customer service. That statement couldn't be further from the truth. So let's break that down. Giving them 1 star is being kind, but have no option. Attention to Detail: If you call building the wrong design of house from what the customer ordered is not taking attention to detail seriously!! Forgetting time and time again that the customer requested a double drive even going as far as commencing work for a single drive before yet again being reminded by the client they had asked for a double drive from the very beginning. Forgetting about a request for a recess in the shower area, forgetting to move an electrical socket again asked for at the very begining and then billed for implementating what we asked for previously. So their statement that they are renowned for their attention to detail is laughable. Quality of Work: Aye right oh. A snagging list longer than a monthly food shop for a family of 4. Many on the list simply due to the poor quality of workmanship. Damaged vinyl flooring damaged before client moved in, shower brackets with 1 screw where there are 3 holes, mixer shower tap attached to the wall at 10 degrees, badly damaged front door, badly laid flooring requiring it to be lifted and relaid at customers cost when it should have been laid by a professional firm therefore not voiding the 15 yr guarantee, but due to Tulloch undertaking the work themselves it made the guarantee worthless. A tarred drive that was so badly laid it required to be redone. And what developer these days hard pipe in a kitchen sink tap without using isolation valves!!! The list goes on and on and as said simply due to poor workmanship and lack of care taken. Customer Service: What customer service. If it was going to cost money for Tulloch you were simply fobbed off. As for the promised meandering paths and trees and other landscaped areas none of which has materialised even though according to Tullochs own website phase 1, 2a & 2b as well as phase 4 are down as complete. These areas take in two soak away areas that are lying as waste land and an eyesore to the residents of the estate. If on the market for a new house in Lossiemouth I would advise knocking on a few doors here at Kinnedddar Meadows and ask the householders what they think of Mr Tulloch and his so-called quality homes. November 2024 update: They can't even get around to replacing dead or missing trees even though I received an email back in March saying that this was to happen soon going as far as to say replacement trees would be ordered within a week. March 2025 and the dead missing trees still haven't been dealt with. Promise after promise broken. And don't mention the so called entrance to the development that was started 3 years ago and of of March 2025 it's still not finished. Yet their development at Hopeman had a far superior entrance erected and completed before one resident had moved in!!!

My wife and I moved into our new home in April 2024. After much research we chose Tulloch of Cummingston to build our new property. The reasons for choosing them were the outstanding reputation they have and the superior quality of their developments. We were able to be involved in aspects of the design and layout of the bungalow, and to have our input as to how our ideas could be brought to reality. We were kept up to date with the progress of the build throughout, we were also aloud on site at regular intervals to see the progress for ourselves. We are both thrilled to be in our new home and all of our expectations have been fulfilled. The reasons for us giving a five star review are simply the excellent customer service and attention to detail that the whole team at Tulloch of Cummingston provide. David Johnson and Sarah Newell.

A couple of years ago my wife and I decided we wanted to move to a new bungalow, and, given their excellent reputation, we approached Tullochs Of Cummingston. We reserved a bungalow at the proposed Inchbroom development in Lossiemouth, and we are now settled in to our excellent new home. During the building phase, Blair (Tulloch) could not have been more helpful and approachable concerning different choices for various aspects of our new home, and his attention to detail was a credit to the company. Blair, John and Sean (site manager) went out of their way to give us any help we needed, and kept us well informed as to how our bungalow was progressing. Not only is our bungalow attractive from the outside, but the high standard of finish is very obvious within the home---everywhere you look you can see that the the materials used and the workmanship are of the highest standards. If anyone is wanting to get a new home built to a very high standard, I would definitely recommend that you contact Tulloch Of Cummingston
