Project Nine were recommended to us very highly and after going through the pre-construction phase (something we would recommend), we had no hesitation in contracting them for our major renovation and extension project on a Grade 2-listed building that had suffered many years of neglect. Our Project Manager was Jake and we cannot praise him highly enough for the way he led and managed the project, bringing together a talented team of tradespeople over the seven month project. We gave them an ambitious time frame which was delivered bang on schedule, something our insurers said they’d never seen before! Jake’s attention to detail and phenomenal memory led to a seamless and stress-free experience and he kept us fully informed about the costs, which were refreshingly transparent, throughout the process. We have honestly never worked with anyone (and we’ve done many projects over the past 40 years) who was more organised, more committed and so lovely to work with. We could not recommend Project Nine highly enough and would not consider using anyone else for any future projects.

From our initial encounter with Sam and Jake, their professionalism was evident. We first met in their design office to discuss our plans, followed by on-site visits accompanied by their architects. Sam and Jake frequently visited the site, providing clear guidance to their team. My wife and I appreciated the WhatsApp group they set up for us. We needed a lot of work to refurbish the interior of or home. Work included removing a wall between kitchen and dining room, new kitchen and new bathroom and shower room. The associated work included electrical and plumbing tasks, decorating and supply and fitting of new flooring, with a new fence installed around the garden. We are a retired couple and were concerned about how to find someone we could trust to organise the whole thing. We were impressed from first contact by Jake’s interest in ensuring he fully understood the work we needed, and he provided a detailed costed schedule of works and a linked payment schedule that did not change during the implementation. The quality of work involving several trades was excellent, as was Jake’s oversight of all the activity on a regular basis. It goes without saying there are always glitches on any project but there was never any argument about any of the issues we raised, and no new charges were introduced. The post installation support and care have been exemplary. We can recommend Project Nine without reservation. We contracted Project Nine to oversee and build a two story extension to our property in Lexden. From initial conversations and quotation stage through to managing and delivering the build, Project Nine were thoroughly professional, efficient, skilled and knowledgeable. Jake, Sam and the team did a fantastic job of building a lovely place for me to use as a creative workshop space for my business and an area for my husbands tools and stuff 🙂. My husband met with Jake and Sam back in July 2020 with a sketch of what we wanted. In January 2021 the ground works started and by early April it was complete. Everything was so well organised deliveries of materials arrived at the right time and contractors came to do their bit in a certain order. This is not something that we could of organised ourselves! They use the same contractors for their projects so you know they trust them and it's like a little family. We were given suggestions and advice from the planning to the interior which made us feel we where in safe hands. The process with P9 was smooth from start to finish. I had been looking at having an extension done for ages, but after nightmare stories from friends involving cowboy builders, I was reluctant to book in. This changed however when Sam from P9 came over to give me a quote. He was down to earth & really seemed to know his stuff, so I finally booked in.
