Ponder Construction recently worked with us to build a bespoke bungalow. At all times they were professional, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. We were made aware of costs upfront and the build went very smoothly and on time despite issues nationally with materials. We are extremely happy with the result and have no hesitation in recommending Ponder Construction.
Very unhappy with mark up from this company, yes technical knowledge maybe good and friendly. But when being told that mark up on materials is 15% to later find out that in reality the mark up is as much as 60% on some of the materials. This is just for a phone call from them to order and they would almost certainly get a better price than me. Even then they did not order the correct amount and I had to pay a lot more to get extra in after paying for the goods. Would certainly not recommend and if you do use make sure you call around when getting quotes from them to ensure that you are not being scammed as I was.
I had a good experience with Ponder. They built two new build houses in Thurrock for me, and I found them easy to deal with, respectful and straightforward. The quality of their work was good and they have dealt with any small niggles efficiently and without any fuss. They gave good advice on design / specification issues during the job, which was particularly helpful. I would definitely consider them for any other similar projects I do.

Having recently bought a bungalow from Ponder Construction I am impressed with the quality and finish of my new home. All fittings are of top quality as detailed in the brochure and extras I require have been dealt with promptly with no problem. Generally a great purchase with no negatives.
The property has been built both externally and internally to the highest standard. The interior design has been thoughtfully planned out and executed.
