Rob and the team installed a wood-fired log burner with a back boiler, a large thermal store, and underfloor heating in my off grid build in Somerset. From the early stages Rob took the time to talk through different options and helped design a system that would work properly for the house. The installation was completed carefully and professionally, with great attention to detail throughout. It’s clear they have a lot of experience with these systems. There were a few teething issues with various things such as the log burner but they always came back to put things right. Now everything works exactly as intended, it's environmentally friendly and has saved so much money we’re really pleased with the result. I would definitely recommend Bywhe Renewables.

These guys supplied and fitted a wood pellet stove, underfloor heating and independent central heating AND linked it to my solar PV. It’s the best cheapest most efficient and most controllable heating system I have ever had. Bloody awesome! Rob and Adrian are experts.

Very pleased with the new heat pump, it keeps a constant steady warmth throughout the house. It takes a bit to get used to, because it’s not like a gas boiler that blasts a load of heat into the radiators and then spends a while cooling down. Your radiators won’t get really hot, instead they will be warm all the time. When you first switch it on it takes several hours to warm the house, but once it’s running you no longer notice a heating/cooling cycle, it’s just comfortably warm all the time. Wish I’d gotten it years ago! Installation process was quick and efficient, they removed the old boiler and put the system for the heat pump in. I went with a larger hot water tank on the company recommendation, but it still takes up less space than the old gas boiler did. The pump itself is obviously outside, but it’s unobtrusive and you don’t notice it running unless you stand very close to it. The most time consuming part of the whole process was contacting the gas company and getting them to come and disconnect my supply to the property, something Bywhe were able to work around without any problems.

We used Bywhe a few years ago to install a biofuels (woodpellet) system to replace a very old oil burner, and involving installing central heating in part of the house that had obsolete overnight storage heaters and installing new storage tanks. This was a complex system requiring a lot of new pipework, radiators, new burner installations and new water storage cylinders, but also having to connect into existing elements. We were able to discuss our requirements and found Rob technically very knowledgeable and helpful with good advice, and friendly. When completed all the work was very professional and has been running well now for several years. They have also recently put in an air source heat pump for an elderley relative and again were very helpful with the planning, and managed to help at short notice as the old system failed.

We had a Klover Smart 120 installed by Bywhe 6 years ago. It's one of the best decisions I have ever made! Rob is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and genuine. The work was done to a high standard and the total cost was less than other quotes. The Klover heats our 4 bed farmhouse efficiently, including hot water and cooking, and is so much cleaner and less work than the solid fuel rayburn it replaced. We have since had solar thermal installed by Bywhe also, this works brilliantly to heat our water in the summer months when we don't need the heat from the Klover. I highly recommend Rob and the Bywhe team.

We had had a pellet boiler for a long time and Bywhe came highly recommended to replace it. They were very thoughtful and pleasant to have around during the installation of a Klover and with that, and them making some adjustments to the whole system, this Winter has seen the most efficient heating in 20 years here.

So our old Rayburn died, it not only provided us with heat but hot water as well, enter Rob and his team. From the start they were all courteous and professional, inspite of a long travel distance they worked through with little disturbance to us and finished the work to a high standard.yes they are a small firm but i would use and reccomend them to anyone wbo asks.

Bywhe have installed a stove and chimney liner as well as an Air source heat pump over the past 12 months. I have found them really attentive to my very picky needs. The stove recommended and supplied by Bywhe is so efficient and cosy it has passed all expectations. The air source heat pump was integrated into my current system and replaced a gas boiler , achieving a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of over 5 (500%) through the winter months which exceeded expectations. This was all fitted around a house renovation. I am doing myself and they have been very flexible to accommodate working around my time scales. They are a friendly team and I will definitely recommend them to family and friends and will be calling them back when I’m ready to install some solar panels. I shopped around and found them good value and much more competitively priced then British Gas and it’s great to use local trades persons.

We got Bywhe to quote to install a Klover Smart 120 wood pellet boiler and generally upgrade our heating system. Their quote was the most reasonable of the three quotes I got so we asked them to do it. They turned up on the day they said they would and cracked on well. The new boiler was in by next day and they finished the whole job in really good time and they left the place neat and tidy. The bit I really appreciated was that once they had the whole system hot and working they took the time to take us right through it so that we understood exactly how it all worked. I had some follow up questions over the next week or so which they answered and at the end of the day the bill was exactly as they had quoted. I would certainly recommend Bywhe and with oil prices going up and up again we’re really pleased to be doing our heating with wood pellets.

Bywhe were recommended by the pellet boiler manufacturer to me and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others. They installed a Klover 120 range pellet boiler into the kitchen at the back of the house - to this day I have no clue how they managed to get this lump of equipment up and around a narrow bunch of outside steps to reach the kitchen. The pellet boiler install went without a hitch, and was set up to work with my nest heating controls flawlessly. Rob gave me excellent advice on how to run the boiler and what to look out for when buying pellets. Since then they have serviced the boiler regularly and I have to say their small business mentality shines through - as a customer, you feel like a friend, and looked after as one too. The pellet boiler was the best decision, which they helped and advised on - a damp drafty old coastal cottage project became dry and warm home. I’ll use them for the next project for sure-thanks guys

Ron, Rob, Adrian & Rachel have been looking after us for years. Our previous pellet boiler was problematic and they were the only company willing to deal with it, despite it being supplied and ‘poorly’ fitted by a company that went out of business. Once that boiler finally gave up, BYWHE supplied and fitted a new one which is far superior to the previous and we now have the added comfort that if there is an issue with the boiler, they know their way around it! Thanks to the BYWHE team and their ongoing support. I highly recommend them.

Just had Rob and his team fit a new pellet stove, incredible job from start to finish, they left the place very tidy and considering we’d had a new carpet the week before, the job was all done and not a mark to be seen. I would definitely recommend this team, they were helpful, knowledgable and highly skilled. All in all a very positive experience.
