Excellent company to deal with. Contacted them to brick up a fireplace. Sent pictures over and got a price for the work the same day. Gave a start date of the week after and arrived when they said they would. Hard working,tidy and great job done, with attention to detail. Offered to repair existing shoddy exterior brickwork by another company. What a transformation they made for a small additional price. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company who do a fabulous job. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Will definitely contact them in the future, if needed.

We decided to have a wall built at the front of our bungalow to replace an old hedge which was gradually dying due to honey fungus. We contacted several local bricklayers and finally decided on Anthony Madden of AM BRICKWORK & POINTING SPECIALISTS. We liked Anthony from the very first time we met him and knew he was the right man for the job. He was very professional, friendly and outgoing with a good sense of humour, and obviously very confident in his trade. He gave us a detailed outline of the work which would be undertaken, and a fairly accurate timescale of when he could begin. We had to get planning permission from the council first and also, like any good tradesman, we had to wait a while before he could begin. In the meantime, with Anthony’s advice, we finalised the design of the wall and chose the bricks we wanted. After planning permission was granted, the work finally began, and we were amazed how organised everything was and how fast things progressed. Within the first week the hedge and shrubbery were removed and disposed of; trench dug out for the footings; bricks and building materials delivered, and the concrete poured for the footings. Once the actual building work started, we were amazed at Anthony’s bricklaying skills and the precision by which he worked. He was very respectful of our property and progressed with the minimum of mess and disruption. In what seemed like a relatively short space of time the wall was built and finally the last day of finishing off and tidying was complete. We cannot praise Anthony enough and are extremely grateful for all he has done for us, and for going that extra mile to accommodate everything we asked for. We have developed such high regard for Anthony, not only his bricklayer skills, but also his project management and organisational expertise. If you are currently considering a new building project, (big or small, bricklaying, pointing, flagging, extensions, garage conversions, renovations, home improvements, garden walls, etc) then look no further than Anthony Madden, AM BRICKWORK & POINTING SPECIALISTS. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to anybody looking for a quality builder.

Anthony and his team have been fantastic from start to finish. He has been incredibly accommodating, has always shown patience, and has offered excellent advice throughout the project. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the quality of the work and professionalism were outstanding. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends and family. He is a genuinely lovely man and will definitely be my go-to for any future building work.
