Claystone Builders Ltd

Dave and his team carried out an extensive refurbishment of a rental property for me, and I’m extremely pleased with the end result. The property was in a very run-down condition, and we encountered a number of unexpected issues along the way, including damp and structural cracks. Dave tackled every challenge head-on, never complained about the additional work required, and consistently communicated the best solutions to resolve each issue properly. The major elements of the project, including the bathroom, flooring, kitchen, and exterior works, were all completed to an exceptionally high standard. As I live over an hour away from the property, it was incredibly reassuring to have Dave and his team on site managing the project efficiently, keeping me updated throughout, and proactively solving problems as they arose. Despite the scale of the refurbishment, we were able to turn the project around within a relatively short timeframe. Even after completion, when an issue arose with a radiator, Dave responded quickly and resolved it promptly, giving me real peace of mind that everything was being properly looked after. I’m very pleased to have worked with Dave and look forward to collaborating with him on future projects

Great team to have around, respectful and hardworking have already recommended multiple times

Dave and his team recently completely a full bathroom renovation at our home. To say I’m pleased with the end result is quite possibly the understatement of the year. The work was done in a timely manner with me always kept up to date with plans and schedules just by way of courtesy. They’re a super friendly team and nothing seemed too much (despite me having hundreds of questions and struggling to make any decisions) They were all tidy and respectful of my home at all times and even conscious of noise at stages whereby I was working from home. The bathroom itself has been finished to a really high standard and I cannot recommend Claystone enough. Dave and team also tore down and rebuilt our garden fence which had seen far, far better days. This was complete in no time and I’m surprised at just how sturdy it now is! Again, it’s finished to a really high standard and looks great. Overall the work carried out was so good, we’re now booked in to have the repointing of the house complete with Claystone too!

We had a single story extension and new kitchen. Dave was amazing from start to finish. The thing he considered that no others had was how to give us a kitchen for as long as possible. This really reduced the upheaval the extension could have had. The fitting was immaculate and any issues were sorted and made known early on. There were some tricky bits with beams and rotting floors etc but never phased them. All the guys were polite and friendly and never a concern having them around the house.

We have recommended claystone Builders to various customers over the years, and we have always received great feedback. Very helpful team and great communication. 5 stars

Friendly, helpful, quick and efficient. I was selling my house and had to gain some retrospective Building Control approval in a hurry, and Claystone Builders were able to assess the work and give me an estimate the same afternoon. And soon after the work was carried out quickly and efficiently. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. St Leonards-on-Sea, March 2025.

Dave and his team are efficient and professional and carry out a very high standard of work with constant communication on processes through out. Highly recommend.

I can't recommend Dave and his team highly enough. They've been working on my house as money allows for the past two years and in that time have been responsive, reliable, practical and professional. They've just finished fitting my new kitchen and they've gone above and beyond to fit it in record time - and it's perfect! Thank you, Dave!

We had a small extension to the kitchen which was started in August. Apart from some troubles with roofers it was done professionally from the Claystone Builders team. Thanks to Dave for all your hard work and answering all our queries quickly and efficiently. Great job guys

Amazing service : Thank you so much to the Claystone team for helping us with a much needed renovation of our home. They were polite and helpful throughout the entire project and everything was completed on time as we had to move out for a period of time. My wife and I would highly recommend Claystone Builders.

Would definitely recommend Claystone Builders. Dave and his team were competitively priced and delivered exactly what was agreed. Good quality work and on the timeline that was explained at the beginning (even with a bit of bad weather).

Nice plate Dave

Huge thanks to Claystone builders!!! Dave and his team have completed an amazing build for me and my family! Dave has built a large kitchen dinner extension and has created a new snug at the rear of our house. All work was done to a high standard and competitively priced . Good communication and customer service. The team worked around problems and delivered results that have transformed the way we use our house. We are very happy 😊 with the build !! Thanks Dave and all your team 👍x

I can thoroughly recommend Claystone Builders for their work building my stunning loft conversion. It is a difficult site and was a challenging project made worse by the extreme weather conditions during the build. Despite the weather Dave, Ollie and the rest of the team remained helpful and positive. They are both good communicators, with attention to detail, always suggesting solutions to deliver my dream. The final result speaks for itself.

Dave and his team done great job in my own house. He removed big load bearing wall between two rooms and installed steel beam. He installed few concrete lintels in same property. Jobs was done quick, good and in professional way. Plus he always is very helpful, polite and overcomes problems with sense of humour. Highly recommend Dave and Claystone Builders. I'm sure Ill ask him for help with other jobs in the future. Remik Kosetka

Thank you Dave for a brilliant job. Made my home complete with the new Bathroom and work in the snug. Zara x

Dave and the guys done an amazing job creating a new wet room for my grandmother last year. She still to this day asks if I see you guys around ☺️ thank you again for helping us. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing expert help.

Dave & the team came highly recommended from a friend of ours. Our master bedroom & en-suite were very dated and needed a full refurbishment. After the initial strip-out, Dave advised that the floor joists in the en-suite needed replacing due to an ongoing leak below the bath. The work was well coordinated throughout and we couldn’t be happier with the finished result. The whole experience was very positive and we have recommended him to our friend’s & family.

Great contractor, and a great team of guys that know everything about construction. Absolute pleasure to work with 👌

Great experience with Dave and the team. Fantastic work on the single storey exstention.

Dave and his team are an absolute delight to work with. Really professional, friendly, happy to do the work, and trustworthy. Not once did we feel let down or unsure about the work they were doing and the end results are amazing. Dave really cares about the customer and you can tell his whole team really work well together. We will absolutely be using Claystone Builders again!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Claystone Builders for a complete refurbishment of my kitchen, and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! From the initial consultation to the final touches, the team at Claystone was incredibly professional, attentive, and transparent. The project manager was always available to answer my questions and kept me informed every step of the way. The craftsmanship is top-notch, with high-quality materials and meticulous attention to detail. They truly transformed my outdated kitchen into a modern, functional space that has become the heart of our home. Their dedication to customer satisfaction and their ability to deliver on time and within budget is truly commendable. I highly recommend Claystone Builders to anyone looking to give their kitchen a new lease on life. Fantastic job, thank you!

Had a big decking job completed at our home, they did an amazing job, told me at every stage what was happening, reasonable price and great finish. Would recommend and already booked in the next job for this summer.

Dave fitted a new main door to my flat. His workmanship was wonderful and it’s already had lots of compliments from the neighbours! He was tidy, had good communication and has a good eye for detail as well as taking care about the whole result. I also had my old pine floors sanded and stained dark and again he ensured that I was happy with the result. His work has transformed my flat and happily recommend his work.

Dave and his team recently installed a new deck for us, including intricate cutting in around an above ground pool and over numerous levels. They did an absolutely fantastic job. They found solutions to any issues, adapted the plan as they went along (due to my not being able to make up my mind!) and worked with speed and accuracy. Dave has a natural eye for the space and how to get the best use out of it. They were polite, hard working and trustworthy - I recommend them 100%!

Dave and the team did a total renovation of our flat - walls, ceilings floors, new kitchen and bathroom plus lots of other fiddly bits. Dave really wanted us to be happy with everything - and we are! He went out of his way to make everything perfect. He responds really fast and is super helpful and has great suggestions/solutions to things that crop up. Highly recommend.
