This is a follow up review after the project (a new build four bed detached home in Folkestone) reached practical completion. Valley Building Kent continued to deliver the project to completion adhering to their outstanding quality control. Most new build houses are delivered with a certain number of snags; defects that the builder needs to address. In total, we managed to pick up only one snag (on a 2,000ft2 house); a light scratch on the internal shelf of a low level kitchen cabinet. This highlights the craftmanship and work ethic that John and Dave drive on their projects, genuinely ahead of where any reasonable client could expect. The project was delivered on budget and on time apart from client instructed variations. Valley Building Limited has been a pleasure to work with over the course of the last year or so and have delivered a dream home for my clients without the all too frequent stress and financial hardship that many building projects bring. I'd have no hesitation to recommend John and Dave and Valley Building Kent.

John Hall, through his company Vally Building Kent Ltd, is currently (08/03/26) in the process of building my new house on a vacant plot I own. He was recommended to me as an excellent builder, and this has certainly been the case. We are over halfway through the project, and the work so far could not be faulted. But more than that, John takes pride in doing a good job. And whenever decisions have to be made, or small changes to the design, John always comes up with helpful suggestions and better ways to do things based on his long experience in the building trade. Steve Welch Update: - This project is now complete (21/08/26) and I could not be more pleased with it. John is an excellent builder and project manager, and he takes professional pride in his work, the finishing touches are well thought out and immaculate. I have no hesitation in recommending him for any building job large or small. Steve Welch

I have just finished plastering a large new build in Folkestone for John and the team at Valley Building, and it was genuinely one of the best sites I’ve had the pleasure of working on. The site was kept spotless, and the high standard of the boarding and prep work made my job as a plasterer significantly easier. If you are looking for a professional team for an extension or a new build, I highly recommend Valley Building for their quality and professionalism. I'm looking forward to working with them again in the future—cheers, John

No hesitation in recommending Valley Building. They did a first class job on a large extension and full refurbishment of our house and we are delighted with the results. Very professional, hard working and keep very tidy building site.
