Herringbone Brickwork Ltd

Steve & his team have done a fabulous job repointing our Victorian house. The original mortar was a total patchwork, failing in many places and starting to cause damp indoors. All the old mortar was raked out and replaced with traditional lime to make sure the house can breathe again. We’re over the moon with how much better it looks and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Herringbone Brickwork!

Highly recommend. Steve was extremely professional and did a great job.

Highly recommended!!!

Steve and his team came really quickly after I'd been let down by another bricklayer. He's done a great job, quick, tidy and a good price. Ill definitely be using him again on my future jobs.

Absolutely thrilled with the work from Herringbone Brickwork — a well-deserved 5 stars! From start to finish, their communication was fantastic: clear, friendly, and responsive. They took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and offered helpful advice without any pressure. The workmanship is outstanding — precise, clean, and clearly done with pride and attention to detail. On top of that, the pricing was very reasonable for the high quality of work delivered. It’s rare to find a company that combines such skill with genuine professionalism. Highly recommend Herringbone Brickwork for anyone looking for reliable, top-quality brickwork.

Helpful and efficient team with a great eye for detail. Project ran smoothly, could not fault them and hope to work together again in the future

Professional, reliable, and easy to work with, highly recommend for anyone needing high quality results.

I'm frankly amazed at the positive reviews for this company. In my experience they are unreliable and did a really poor job of re-pointing my house. The job was left unfinished and Steve never replied to texts or emails. Steer well clear from this company is my advice

Steve did a great job repairing our brick wall for a good price. Excellent communication, reliable, punctual and a really nice bloke 👍

Just like to say a big thank you to Steve and his team for taking the strain and stress out of building our extension. We wanted a brick quoined, flint infilled extension to our heritage Sussex cottage, and we asked several companies to quote. Steve replied immediately and talked through our options which he then priced up very competitively. He started on time, worked efficiently and cleanly, never left us in an overnight mess and was always cheerful and polite. The building inspector passed all stages on first visit and the workmanship is exquisite. We are extremely pleased with our new look home. I have no reservation or hesitation in recommending Herringbone Brickwork as a competitive, reliable and quality company for any project you may have in mind.

Steven and his team were highly professional and provided sound structural advice and guidance throughout our complicated self-build. Workmanship was exquisite and kept the site as clean and tidy as possible through challenging elements. Highly recommended.

Steven and his team did a great repointing job on our church, stepping in at short notice having been let down at the last minute. Steven was very professional, responsive and easy to deal with, with a helpful team. The work was carefully done to a high standard and well matched. I would thoroughly recommend Herringbone.

Top guys and their work is professional, efficient and good quality. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Steve and his team have done a phenomenal job on our long and complicated drive wall, and pillars. The work is exemplary and Steve was highly professional and communicative throughout . Very happy!

Steve and his team layed 8000 bricks on our house build, couldn’t be happier with the work, very helpful team. Would recommend without hesitation!
