Incredible service and results. I had a very clear vision of what I wanted. I had spoken to a couple of big name bathroom companies who tried to steer me in a different direction. Lewis at Wash Bathrooms didn’t do that, instead he embraced the challenge and the budget and was with me every step of the way, from design, to product, to the finished bathroom. We had been thinking about renovating our bathroom for a while, specifically looking to replace our bathtub with a walk-in shower. Wanting to support a local business, we decided to book an appointment with Wash Bathrooms after hearing great things about them—and it was the best decision we could have made. Our design meeting with Lewis was incredibly thorough and detailed. He completely understood our vision and brought forward excellent options and space-saving considerations we hadn’t even thought of. His expertise regarding showroom fixtures, tiles, and layouts was invaluable. Once we made our choices, he integrated them into a computer-generated mockup, allowing us to see exactly how the final bathroom would look. The level of detail was truly impressive. Our bathroom installation was completed by Richard, who did an amazing job. He is a truly skilled craftsman with an exceptional eye for detail. Whenever a decision needed to be made during the installation, he always discussed it with us upfront, laying out the pros and cons clearly. For instance, because our bathroom floor wasn’t perfectly level, he gave us the option of either raising the floor slightly to level it or creating a small step up into the walk-in shower. We chose to level it, and the end result looks fabulous. Polite, tidy, and professional, Richard was a pleasure to have in our home. Communication via WhatsApp was brilliant. Ed and Lewis were quick to respond and action anything required. From design to delivery and final installation, we cannot rate Wash Bathrooms highly enough. It was a seamless experience that gave us a new shower room that is a thing of beauty!

Best way to buy a new bathroom thanks for all your help

My wife and I initially went to Wash Bathrooms to look for a vanity unit. After a few more visits they ended up supplying the majority of other items we also required. Ed and Lewis were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful throughout and were never pushy. Generally the sign of a good business is how they deal with any issues; one of our items had been damaged somewhere in the supply chain. Ed/Lewis immediately arranged for a repacement item without any quibble. Based on our experience I cannot praise them enough and thoroughly recommend them for your bathroom needs.

In November of last year we bought a house with a convenient utility room riddled with damp so bad that the laminate floor rippled.It was equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer in a stack in front of the window. The dryer vented through a hole in one of the window panes and the water supply to the dryer was leaking badly. It was cold, ugly, insanitary and desperately needed improvement but we were not at all sure how, which is where Lewis and Wash Bathrooms came in. There seemed to be nothing Lewis didn't know about bathroom ware and, better yet, he was infinitely patient while we tried out one idea after another. On more than one occasion he spent so much time with us that we narrowly escaped parking fines and gradually, bit by bit, we hammered out an agreed design. Then he introduced us to his installers. We can't speak too highly of Blu and his many employees. To a man they were friendly, very considerate, patient with us and really skilled at their various trades but Blu in particular, oversaw everything, overcame every problem within our budget, had a fixed determination to deliver the best possible result for us and we are delighted with the final result.It surpassed our expectations.

Really happy with the bathroom supplied to us by Wash Bathrooms. It was really helpful to be able to see the bays showing a good selection of options, and Lewis was really helpful helping us fine tune our design. The delivery team could not have been more helpful getting everything up to the first floor for us. As a heating engineer I can appreciate how much better quality the bathroom is compared to a DIY centre bathroom, and everything was a dream to fit. The supplied tiles were well made and fit really well into the design. Finding out we also qualified for zero VAT due to my partner having Diabetes was a nice surprise which nobody else had told us about. Its a big thumbs up from us and would heartily recommend going to Wash Bathrooms.

Visited the Portsmouth branch of Wash Bathrooms to get ideas for the renovation of our new home. We were welcomed by Lewis, who left us to look around the items on display. He was extremely helpful, listened to what we needed and gave us advice on the best solutions for our needs, without being pushy. We’ve just had a full bathroom rip-out and complete redesign by Wash Bathrooms, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the result. What started as a dated shower room has been completely transformed — including adding a bath where there was previously only a shower. The new layout works so much better and feels far more spacious and considered. Lewis designed the space and absolutely nailed it. He listened to what we wanted but also suggested ideas we hadn’t thought of, which made a huge difference to the final outcome. The design feels modern, practical and beautifully finished. Richard carried out the installation and his attention to detail was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble — his can-do attitude and pride in his work really showed. He was reliable, tidy and clearly cares about getting things exactly right rather than just “done”. A full rip-out can be disruptive, but the whole process was managed professionally and with clear communication throughout. We’re genuinely thrilled with the finished result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wash Bathrooms to anyone considering a renovation.

I can’t recommend Wash bathrooms enough! Having had issues in our new house with hard water, we were forced to use an abrasive cleaner on our plugs in the sinks. Lewis and Ed were extremely helpful with this and they ordered replacement plugs which were back in the store within one week. I highly recommend this store for their after sales care and support.

This is alert to all fit and disabled veterans living in the South East of England. As a retired disabled serviceman, who couldn’t find a company with substance that would cover all my bathroom built requirements, especially the final cost, VAT exemption and a fitter with years of experience. After several months running from company to company, I walked into wash bathrooms. From design to installation, everything from start to finish went accordingly. Lewis the sales representative was incredibly honest, helpful and without question their fitter Richard was a perfectionist and a true ambassador for wash bathrooms. I will be recommending this company to the MOD disabled veterans association and British legion, with the view that this notice will be placed in the veterans monthly newsletter.

From the very start right upto well after fitting they were switched on and nothing was too much trouble. Even when we were at fault, I hasten to add. Lewis and Ed...complete gems. Very very strongly recommend them.

We had an excellent experience ordering a full bathroom refit through Wash Bathrooms. In a couple of hours instore, Lewis was able to assist us with purchasing everything we needed, talking us through our options, giving advice, and, importantly, making the most of the space in our relatively small bathroom. The store was accommodating with our needs, and we were grateful that they were able to order items and store them for us ahead of the works commencing. We purchased one ex-display item and we were able to pick this up at a time convenient to us. The work was carried out by Charles and his team at Charisma Plumbing and Heating and we couldn't be more pleased. Charles and team were the epitome of professional - from their initial visit, to the days of work, to signing it off at the end, they were friendly, courteous, diligent, assiduous and endlessly patient when we hadn't yet made a decision on something. They demonstrated their knowledge and wisdom by offering suggestions to improve our bathroom and helping with various decision making processes! Communication was exemplary, particularly when there was a delay in proceedings (plaster taking longer to dry than expected) and tradespeople needed to be rearranged. Their cleaning and tidying was excellent, with care paid to all areas of the house they had accessed. The whole process, from initial showroom visit to the finished product was around six weeks and we are thrilled with this. Money very well spent!

The two guys in store were so helpful. I had been in two bathroom shops beforehand with staff who seemed very uninterested in helping me find what I needed. Delighted with the outcome of our full bathroom remodel, to convert our very old bathroom into a modern shower room, including new floor, new ceiling, lighting, etc. We selected Wash after visiting a few showrooms in Pompey. Staff were friendly and helpful, and advised us well. Maybe not the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for - some discount was given. They also assisted with the fitting after we had some issues with getting trades (normal), and organised a sub-contractor who had all the necessary trades (including sparky, plasterer etc.).

Thank you Wash Bathrooms for completely renovating my bathroom. Although it was in need of a revamp it was spurred on by my husband’s disability needs. Once this was explained Andy was brilliant working out all aspects of it and made suggestions. John and his team did a fantastic job replacing the old bath suite with a lovely walk-in shower with subtle safety elements. They did everything, plumbing (obviously), tiling (we chose huge tiles to reduce grout cleaning), ceiling, new flooring, electrics, painting, they did the lot which took the worry out it for us and we are really happy with the end result. All the guys at Wash Bathrooms are super helpful. After I'd foolishly bought soft close loo seats on eBay (that stopped closing shortly after the point where eBay will sort a refund), I had a look online, to see who was local, and decided to give these guys a try. Long story short, I've now got a soft close loo seat that's actually designed for the toilet it's on, so it fits and works perfectly 😀

We were recommended by friends to go to Wash Bathrooms for the equipment to install in our new ensuite. Both andy and Ed were friendly and helpful, pointing out possible alternatives and good deals. We were able to choose all the fittings in a couple of visits to the showroom. These were quickly and reasonably priced so we were able to place the order with plenty of time for delivery to coordinate with our fitter and plumber. When my bathroom decided to demolish itself through a leak, I was so happy to get in touch with Wash Bathrooms. From the design, to the installation (with a fitter they recommended), everything was really simple. I had initially gone in with no idea as to how I wanted the bathroom to look, and Andy was wonderful and suggested things that I hadn't even imagined. My new bathroom looks fantastic! Instead of my old toilet that was difficult to clean behind, I now have a lovely one in its own furniture that matches the basin cabinet. I also have a beautiful quadrant shower with sparkly leak proof panels on the walls. Everything I needed for my new bathroom was available from Wash (shower enclosure, shower, tiles, panels, taps, radiator...), and the delivery was quick, as promised, with some items delivered directly from supplier. I did have an issue with a cupboard door that was sent straight from supplier and was damaged, but Martin worked hard to keep my informed as to what was happening with the order. Once I have enough money, I will be going back to Wash to get my design done for my upstairs bathroom, which is currently over 40 years old! I can't wait to see what they will transform it into. I have recommended to several of my friends already.

We are very satisfied with the design, communication, range and advice given from the team. Ed was very patient and helpful in getting us the design we liked within our budget. We changed our minds several times and ordered things very last minute but all went very smoothly. One item arrived slightly damaged and Ed ordered a new one the same day. I visited Wash Bathrooms recently after moving into a new house with a very old main bathroom. (see before and after photos) I had a rough idea of what I wanted and was greeted warmly by Ed who was incredibly patient and took the time to show me a huge range of options. He created a high quality 3D design of our bathroom and suggested many improvements to my initial idea that I hadn't even thought of, but made the layout much better. Ed is one of the most genuine people I've met and strived to find me the best quality fixtures and fittings within my price range as well as offering me excellent deals and value for money overall compared to any of the other bathroom places I had visited in Portsmouth. Andy was also incredibly helpful with the aftersales as once the fitter began installation, we had to make a few minor alterations. Andy was never more than a phone call away and was able to source me various items at short notice.
