I reached out to Paul to sort a strange problem with my heating, it wouldn't work independently of the hot water. Paul was brilliant and on the day of the work he and the electrician discussed best way of doing it and carried out the work with precision. Paul answered my S.O.S. phone message within the day and visited to access the job the next morning. The hot water cylinder valve was failing and leaking constantly. Paul took photos, emailed a quotation for the call out, new part, and repair, then ordered the new valve. Two weeks later, promptly at 9am, as advised, Paul arrived and began work. He had finished, and cleared away his equipment about an hour later, having tested the repair. I found Paul to be friendly, honest, knowledgeable and reliable. I would happily approach him if I need the services of a plumber again, and recommend him to other potential customers.

I asked Paul to updated my central heating by increasing the size of pipework to my rads. When Paul came to carry out the upgrade he inspected the work done and assured me it didn’t need upgrading. It only needed bleeding and balancing which he did. He could so easily have ripped me off but he didn’t! I’ve used Paul before to install a boiler, shower and toilet. I can recommend Paul as a genuine honest and knowledgeable tradesman.

My boiler had a pressure problem. Paul found the problem quickly, replaced the part and my boiler is working very well now. I highly recommend Paul.

Paul relocated and installed some radiators for us, in a Victorian house with some unexpected surprises in its build. He had to deal with more than anticipated, but was excellent at problem solving, and was both thorough and very neat. Would highly recommend him, and we’ll certainly be contacting him for any future jobs.

Removal of back boiler and installation of a external combi-boiler and fit extra new radiator. Paul was excellent, clean tidy and always on time, always keeping us informed with what he was doing. He removed all the old pipe work associated with the work which was most of the job in the roof space working in very warm conditions. As a retired Building manager I was very impressed. Paul installed a new oil boiler , 10 radiators and an oil tank for us and he was very hard working, with excellent workmanship. Paul did a great job taking out the old and installing our new oil combi boiler including connecting up some radiators and removing the old water cylinder. He was very professional, worked very tidily and was very friendly to have about the place. Would definitely recommend.

Paul replaced our old oil boiler with a new combi, removed old pipework and installed a new radiator. As with all old properties there were some unforseen issues that Paul dealt with quickly and kept us well informed throughout. Communication is top notch and we will definitely use for future bathroom renovations.

Paul removed bath and replaced with walk-in shower enclosure, I am so pleased with the result. All work done to a high standard, thoroughly recommend him for all plumbing needs.

When we decided to replace our old boiler, we tried a few companies like iHeat and Heatable etc. and by luck came across a local heating company - Paul Ridgewell. Paul was not only competitive and a local business, but in particular, Paul is very conscientious and his standard of work is superb in every respect from relocating radiators to the full installation of our Greenstar boiler and all, leaving his workspace spotless at the end of a day. Where there was more than one way to do something, Paul would ask if we had a preference and just made the whole experience so easy going for us, so we would not hesitate in highly recommending Paul, he is a genius!
