I booked an AEG fixed price repair for my integrated fridge freezer as the freezer was not working. AEG wanted a photo of the identification plate inside the fridge. B&R services text me the following day and also asked for a photo of the identification plate inside the fridge. I sent this to both AEG and B&R services. The technician arrived a couple of days later and he looked at the identification plate inside the fridge, checked it on the Internet - and then announced that my fridge freezer was not repairable because this model had an ‘electric valve’ on the compressor and these units were deemed non-repairable. My question is: after being charged £80 for that call out (the rest of the fee was refunded) and the technician did absolutely no diagnostics on my fridge freezer and just announced that my model was not repairable. Why could AEG or B&R services have not established this before sending out a man to check the identification plate on site and then announce that it could not be repaired. Absolutely no diagnostics were done on my unit on site. I feel fairly ripped off. I’ll never buy AEG again or use B&R services. I also didn’t appreciate the technician’s foul language (F word in quite a few sentences) whilst he conversed with me, the customer. UPDATE: Steve from B&R phoned me and wanted to resolve the situation. After a good discussion about the issues raised above he offered a full refund of the call-out fee. This was credited to my bank account today, the very same afternoon. So a decent outcome and the matter is now settled. Hence I have changed the star rating above.
Called B&R yesterday morning and an engineer arrived the next day. Jake was very polite and thorough and tidied up when he'd finished. Very impressed with both B&R and Jake. Would definitely recommend.

The service provided by B and R services, was excellent, the leak from the dishwasher was identified and the engineer returned with the correct parts and the problem of the leak was resolved. I would like to compliment Jake on his professional approach and efficiency, he even made an extra visit to clarify an issue I had raised, he is a credit to B and R services's customer focus.

So. We were first introduced to BR services as an approved authoriser for AEG and they attended to fix our dishwasher under warranty. Since then we have used them twice more for out of warranty work and they are reasonable, friendly, organised and efficient. They are our go to people.
We have used them twice in the month of June. Once for our washing machine and then for our fridge This is an excellent company Reliable ; reasonable prices and no mess just a first class job Greg Fareham

I had to replace a washer dryer for a tenant in a first floor flat, Sarah and her engineer arrived on time, removed the old one, and placed the new one in position and ran through the instructions with the tenant. The engineer also cut the plinth to fit. BR Services have attended to other appliances for me, and I have found them reliable, quick, and courteous. A big thank you to Sarah who shouldn't of, but helped get the machines old and new up and down the stairs, into place. Service above and beyond, Thank you. If I could give more stars I would.
Had Jake out to fix our tumble dryer under Zanussi warranty. Absolutely fantastic service, had it diagnosed and fixed in no time at all, a lovely chap who knows his job and was a pleasure to meet! Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Have used this local company on previous occasions. As always, the service was great from the first call with potential costs explained and dates agreed. The engineer turned up well within the agreed time slot and had the necessary parts needed to repair my oven. Everything completed and oven working withing 15 minutes and at a reasonable cost. Recommended.

Excellent fast service from a friendly professional engineer. Information I gave when making the appointment enabled the engineer to bring the necessary spare part which was fitted quickly. Advice also given on use of the oven door.

The engineer who attend was amazing. To fix a burner he had manhandle the cooker and dishwasher. Once fixed it's all went back together as if he had not been. Also the cooker now works. Amazing and well-done. Highly recommend this company and it's enginers
I had to order a new fridge freezer recently from B&R Services. Sarah in their shop was very helpful over the phone and my new appliance was ordered and delivered two days later. It was installed by two very efficient and friendly fitters called William & Wayne. I will certainly be recommending this local company to my friends.

Updating this review having used B&R again, this time for a microwave. As before, absolutely superb service…called late Wednesday, Dwayne, the engineer, came out Friday morning and 30 minutes later, the replacement part had been installed and I have working microwave. Just brilliant service from the first phone call to fixing the issue. I cannot speak highly enough of B&R Services, absolutely superb service from the first phone call due to a broken dishwasher to a new dishwasher being installed. Called on a Wednesday morning, engineer out on Thursday, fault discovered that was beyond repair so took advice from B&R and purchased a new dishwasher that was installed by 2 lovely gentleman a week later. They were superb, came in, removed old dishwasher, new one in, checked it worked and gave me a demonstration while leaving no mess at all. People may think it's cheaper to go to larger retailer but when you add in delivery, installation and removal of your old appliance, you will end up paying the same plus B&R answer their phone and you get to speak to a simply wonderful lady, you just don't get that level of service elsewhere. Hopefully all my appliances continue to work but if not, B&R will be the first company I call, absolutely first class service.

B&R team installed our new fridge freezer today.Their team were extremely friendly and efficient and what a pleasure it is to deal with real experienced team players including staff at their shop.Nothing was too much trouble and took time to set the equipment up and explained everything. The AEG fridge freezer after installation revealed that the fridge was not working, however I had a replacement fitted with 4 days, a service of unparalleled efficiency. I had a problem with my washing machine which was still under its guarantee- Beko passed me on to B and R services, My local engineers. The lady answering the phone was extremely knowledgeable- arranged a mutually suitable appointment for the engineer to come out to my house. Clive was an absolute gentleman and so professional. He respected my property, knew what the problem was straight away and even had the right part with him to replace it. Clive stayed to watch a quick wash go through to check all was working properly and it was! I would not hesitate to recommend B and R Services to anyone. Thank you again.
One star removed for the poor diagnosis and service at the first visit (different engineer). Revisit today to resolve - exemplary service by Clive whose diagnosis and execution of the repair was faultless. Additionally a fantastic service from Helen in the Booking Centre. Had a guy called Jake turn up to have a look at my dishwasher that was not finishing cycle. I got say what a happy friendly guy on arrival. He spent a while eliminating what could be wrong and finally explained what it was (faulty heat pump I believe he said) he had to order one in and came back three days later with part,fitted it and sat till cycle complete. Most definitely recommend them B&R and especially Jake.
The engineers were came out were prompt, obviously knew what they were doing and were really polite. Would highly recommend them and would use them again in the future.

We had an engineer check today as I was concerned there was an issue with our fridge freezer, our engineer Mitch was so lovely, he came and showed us how to use the fridge freezer and the correct temperatures to have it all, he looked at the back of the FF and explained everything and reassured us that everything was working and the issue was completely normal. He was super helpful and I feel so much relief knowing everything is working with no issues. Thank you for all your help!

Recently, Jake the engineer repaired the very noisy freezer fan in my refrigerator, as I live in an open plan flat it's made a huge difference to my quality of life He was on time,very courteous, incredibly helpful and professional, a very rare commodity in this day of poor customer service generally, outstanding!!

I have my washing machine insured via domestic and general and they arranged for b and r services to attend, my washing machine broke late Sunday night, it had been repaired and doing a load of washing by 3pm Wednesday brilliant service I was asked for the model and serial number of washing machine while on the phone with them so when they attended they had the correct parts and fixed it within 20mins.

This was very quickly followed by a visit from their excellent engineers to fit the new dishwasher and take away the old one. Great service from B&R Services for the repair of my AEG oven. On the visit, Jake was on time and courteous and respectful of my property. He checked all aspects of the oven and not just the fault and got my oven working again. He also gave me great advice to improve the longevity of the appliance. Very happy to recommend the service and Jake to anybody else.

The gentleman who came to fix my leaky washer was amazing so kind and delightful. I hope his boss gives him the recognition he deserves as there’s not a lot of people like him, he’s one in a million. He even made a great effort with my two little dogs who loved him.

Would definitely recommend. These guys know what they are talking about. I was so stressed over brand new leaking dishwasher (purchased with kitchen not through them). Mark called to understand the problem, then two collected it, took it back to base, ran it through multiply washes to check nothing was damaged and everything was working and more importantly is safe. I would definitely buy and have my appliances serviced here in future. They give you confidence they know what they are talking about and personally that is important to me. I might not know what's wrong but as long as they do - then that's 5* from me. Couldn't fault any of the team from answering the calls to getting back to me when they said they would. TY B & R.
I cannot praise this company enough. Large oven would not work on Christmas Day, managed to do cooking with small oven. Called B&R after Christmas, helpful lady said she would arrange for an engineer to come out. Called later and said the engineer would come on 2nd January between 8.00 and 1.00. Jake the engineer arrived. Very professional, friendly and efficient and obtained an excellent price for repairing the oven. Very reliable company from start to finish.
Fantastic service - sent on behalf of washing machine provider (Beko) when reported a fault. At first Beko had supplied B & R services with the wrong appliance details (even though I gave the correct details), engineer apologised they couldn't do anything at that point. After contacting Beko another appointment made with in the same week, engineer again was fantastic, polite, very knowleable about the product, tried the simple things first replaced pump still nothing from machine he went to plan B, I now have a working washing machine after 3 weeks. Customer service is amazing from contact from the office to the engineer on site great team thank you
Dishwasher repair was booked via Domestic and General, arrived on time, friendly chap but repair lasted 3 weeks before the machine packed up. Another repair now booked via a different company.
2nd time i have had to replace fan oven element and brilliant price and service with next day pick up (delivery was an option but they're not that far from me).They even had my previous purchase history from 2015 to check it was still the same item. A lot cheaper than online spares. Highly recommended !!

Had the glass door of my Electrolux oven explode! Referred by Electrolux to Domestic & General who, then instructed B & R Services to attend. B & R called me to confirm model and serial number of oven and arranged for their technician to visit. Shane arrived this morning within the 2 hour slot l'd been given. Door and seal replaced, very promp and professional service provided by knowledgeable and polite staff.

We have recently purchased a Dishwasher and a Fridge Freezer form B & R Service. Very competitively priced with very helpful advice from both Sarah and Marion in the shop. The products arrived as promised and both the delivery guys were very polite, personable and efficient. We have used this company for a number of machines over the last 20 years or so and have never had an issue. Would highly recommend them.

Would not recommend this company but didn’t have a choice as my insurance company sent them!! Firstly I was given an appointment through my insurance company for 27/12/2022, BR Service cancelled!! Finally got an appointment for the next day!! Was told engineer would ring with eta!! Didn’t bother just turned up!! As he didn’t have the part had to put a broken part just to get my washing machine working!! Told he would have to come back to refit the broken part, explained that I was off work on 20th Jan!! BR Services rang with a date not convenient and explained that I was off work on 20th Jan but had hospital appointments in the morning could I have an afternoon appointment was told ok, 19th Jan gets a text message stating my engineer would be with me between 8 & 1pm, contacted BR Services to say this was not convenient only to be told that they no I have hospital appointments so they will have to cancel!! Asked for a manager to contact me as the service I was receiving was unacceptable!! At 18.40 I had a jumbled up message let by a manager!! Now have to contact them again to sort out an appointment for February!! Absolutely ridiculous!! SO BE WARNED!!!

I've been a repair client of B & R for over 25 years. Yesterday 4th August my old Zanussi 12 year old washing machine motor broke with my family of sailors staying with us, who needed the washing done daily so it could be used again the next day! Sarah was quick to help and understand the problems as my old machine was full of washing and I couldn't get the machine to drain or get the door open to get washing out. Sarah recommended a new AEG L6FBK841N which was in stock had a 1400 spin 8kg load, quick 20 min wash and showed me how much time left till cycle finished. It was delivered and installed by 3pm and the old machine taken away ready to do another sailing wash cycle an hour later. Thanks so much for such an efficient service, it is much appreciated. Wanted new grill element as other one failed. Went into the shop for advice about the element. The lady said she would look into it but haven't heard a thing since. We sent the information to her but no response. We eventually went to Hotpoint directly and the one they supplied was the right one. It fits the grill perfectly. The one from B and R did not fit properly, they were too short and didn't sit on the shelf supports. If fact totally wrong size. I gave it one star as I was unable to give it no stars. Will NOT use again. This was not the first time this has happened to us. Go direct.
Was in the market for a new washing dryer. Lady said she’ll phone me back with options. Never received a call back. Went to John Lewis instead.
Phoned on Monday, they could of come out Tuesday but I couldn't, they came first thing Wednesday, fixed in half an hour with a new part to sort a error 19 problem. Great job.

B & R services provide an outstanding and prompt service. They supplied freezer drawers for a very ancient freezer - much to our surprise! Ordered on Wednesday, delivered on Friday. Cheerful and knowledgeable service on the phone. We shall use them again!
Our fridge / freezer had a system fault and we are a week later with no update and no fridge. We have had zero updates from either B&R or Zanussi/Electrolux on what exactly is the problem and when we can expect a replacement or repair on our in warranty appliance. We've called several times throughout the week and I've been given a different excuse each time. Would avoid if I could.
Absolutely brilliant. Repair sorted within days and as I work they even arranged around my hours. The man who came to fix my cooker was so friendly and polite.Would recommend to anyone .

So helpful and kind, they went the extra mile to fix my elderly mum's fridge on the same day! We have used them before for a washing machine install and received the same absolutely fantastic service. Very helpful lady orderd my part but out of stock told late buy supplier as for old lady cooking needed quick so had to cancel order no problem refunded said very sorry will use them again as used them before without fault

Came in the given time frame, fixed the problem with my machine and also gave it a mini service followed by some advice to prevent further issues. Clean and tidy. 100% recommend.

Called, have codes for part required, drove 30 mins to collect....wrong part. Promised a call back, didn't get one. Call again a few days later, promised a call back , never got one. Called a 3rd time, asked again for codes from my machine which I couldn't provide at the time, only to find out when I called the 4th time, a gentleman was now advising me and they have my correct part on the shelf, quite annoying as no washing machine for two weeks now.
AEG sent out the engineer with wrong work details required despite emailing, sending pics & actually speaking to AEG about what was required. Upon arrival B&R engineer inmmediately took ownershio of problem and ordered the correct parts. Returned next week and fitted in timely fashion.
Hi, very impressed with B&R Services, had a problem with our freezer and they managed to get us an appoint with the engineer for next morning. He turned up with with all the kit and diagnosed the problem. Major part needed so repair would not be economic. Appreciated the honesty would definitely recommend them.

Don't waste your time there a bunch of cowboys came out too fix washing machine and ordered wrong part this was 30th of may said they will order correct part and come and fit it. Well it's now 27th July and no phone call nothing. When they came out on 30th may Mark the engineer told me he was wasting his time coming too me and very rude I did complain too b&r and was told manager will call me back well to this day still no call so goes too show what they think of there customers. he tried telling me the fault with machine was load out of balance but it was not as don't matter what load you put in it would still play up. When you have had the machine for almost 2 years you know when it's going wrong. Hope they didn't charge my insurance company for the correct part which they have never came back too fit.
***** B&R have been brilliant in resolving a problem with our Washer Dryer. Beko were absolutely awful but B&R continued to resolve the problem and we now have a replacement machine. The team at B&R are very professional and understanding and after numerous visits from 3 different engineers I can honestly say they were all very courteous and helpful. Ian took ownership of the problem and kept in touch on a regular basis to update us with what was happening. Would definitely recommend them *****
Been using B&R for years for repairs etc , usually through insurance with no problems. This time was for an uninsured item and received same excellent service - engineer on time , speedy diagnosis and decision to replace the tumble dryer made - although he wanted to repair it! - bought new one immediately from them at good price etc. Rang to confirm delivery - very pleasant and helpful young lady. At all stages they were top notch. Thank you.

dont bother with this company booked an appointment two weeks ago took an afternoon off work and on the day they cancel say they have too many jobs on today so can't fit me in.very bad run company no customer service what so ever avoid
Great service and great people! B & R gave that personal and caring touch that you just don't get from the big name stores any more. They were clean and tidy and went out of there way to get my machine into an awkward spot in the kitchen. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.
Booked an appointment between 1200-1700 Friday; took a half day off work to wait in for the engineer. Called the office to check they were definitely coming when nobody had arrived by 1600 and was assured someone was definitely coming, but we were probably the last job of the day as we live quite close to the office. The engineer never showed up and nobody bothered to give us a call. Don't waste your time here.
Poor - I have been trying for 55 minutes to get through and am getting the same message over and over again. I eventually tried to go through to the operator and then got another message over and over again. How do we contact you.
