Highly recommended! Robert came to look at the broken grill control on our rangemaster oven. He was sent a wrong replacement part by rangemaster which turned out not to work, and then figured out that the right replacement part wasn't available any more (the oven was from the 90s). Despite spending a lot of time on this for reasons that he wasn't responsible for, he only charged the initial diagnostic fee, which was very fair of him. He was courteous and knowledgeable and easy to communicate with, so we'd definitely call on him again for any issues.

Outstanding - I can't recommend highly enough! Called in the morning and in the afternoon our washer dryer was fixed and ready to go again! Electric Double Oven. Very fast and efficient service. Robert came out to see us and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He fixed it that day. No mess and very conscientious work. I would highly recommend him.

We asked Robert to come out and mend our double oven, he was quick to respond and able to come that day. Haven’t used Robert but contacted him this morning and he was extremely helpful and honest. He advised what could be wrong with my fridge freezer and the possible costs and it was probably not worth the cost of repairing. I very much appreciated his honesty (he doesn’t service my brand of fridge either so it’s not that he is too busy or anything like that) and will keep his number if I have problems with other appliances.

Fabulous service from Robert every time. Responsive, friendly, professional and skilled. In the past he has been able to repair our old washer dryer and today he came out to look at our more recent digital washing machine which was sadly worn out and too expensive to repair. He diagnosed the multiple problems showing and clearly explaining the issues - we had been waiting on our ‘warranty providers to respond for two days’ Robert responded within the hour. Robert has just fitted our new integrated washing machine, and taken away the old one. The decor panel needed a bit of fiddling with to fit, because of various lash up’s that had been made down the years with successive washing machines. He did a brilliant job, and it is now better than it has been for years. He is now our go to Appliance Repair man! Very reasonable cost too!

Came to look at our fridge/freezer 15mins after we called. Very speedy service! Unfortunately our unit wasn’t able to be repaired but we really appreciated the friendly advice and will definitely call again if we have any issues with any other appliances.

I had a turntable problem with a two year old microwave which other repairers weren't interested in. I phoned this company, left my microwave with him, and the next morning was able to collect it, repaired, for a very reasonable charge! Brilliant service.

I would recommend Robert to anyone who is looking for a handyman who is good at their job. He repaired our AEG built-in oven and Miele cooker hood which is very old model and he was very clever to find a solution for the problem. Excellent service from South East Appliance. Our wonderful 18 year old Bosch washing machine had ground to a halt, blowing a breaker and emanating a strong electric smell. Preferring to repair than renew we called on a Saturday morning - and Robert came round that afternoon. What I liked was that he confirmed costs before coming and reiterated that the callout charge was separate to the labour charges required to fix it and the cost of any parts. It turned out the brushes were burnt out and unfortunately, he did not have replacements for this model in his van but quoted a price and a fixed cost for labour which were both reasonable and acceptable. I paid him the call out fee and he duly returned a couple of days later to replace them. Sadly, it was then obvious a board had blown and possible the motor was damaged. We were happy to go ahead but Robert was adamant that we were wasting our money. He advised the repair would not have been cost effective and it would better for us to put that money into a new machine emphasizing that recycling old washing machines was very efficient with little going to waste, which definitely made us feel better. Even after spending nearly an hour on the job he made no charge and stressed he only charges if he fixes a machine. As many others have said he was very knowledgeable, informative and a pleasure to have around. We would certainly use him again.

We phoned Robert at 1pm the day our washing machine broke and he was here looking into the repair that same day. It took some investigating to diagnose the problem, but we were kept well up to date, including delivery of new parts. Washing machine was up and running within the space of a few days. Had a broken dishwasher and Robert installed a new one. He was very quick, reliable, friendly, and worked efficiently and clean. I had also a problem with a freezer and although he wasn't able to look at it he gave me a thorough suggestion for resolving the problem which it did and saved me real money. Paid this company almost £500 for a part for new fan for our electric oven. Was promised it would be fixed by Chrismas. We had to chase them for them to come back. I am pretty sure that they then blocked our mobile so that our calls did not go through as tried on usual mobile and could not get through. Rang on a different mobile and did get through. They then did not turn up to the appointment. We have tried to ring them again but again cant get through to them. I think other reviews are just fake reviews as some seem to date back to before the company was registered at Companies House. If the Directors are reading this review, please get in touch with me, and save me the need of going to the small claims court.

Robert was friendly and polite. He kept to social distancing rules at all times. Very reasonable cost and he fixed the problem there and then. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent response to our phonecall after our washing machine failed to pump out water. Arrived inside 2hours as promised and removed and cleared blockage promptly. Clearly knew what to do and how to solve the fault . Have added to my emergency contact list. CH (70)

Highly recommended! Fast, efficient, helpful, pleasant and very reasonably priced. He showed me exactly where the fault was on my Bosch washing machine and even where the secret lever is to open the locked door (which is not on the Bosch website)! Great service - very happy!
