Chris responded very quickly to a call for a boiler problem. He guessed on the phone what the problem was and came the next day to fix it, bringing the spare part with him. It was all sorted in about half an hour. I simply can't fault service like that.

Chris came straight out on a Sunday morning to fix our boiler. He quickly identified the issue as the heat exchanger and was able to fix it without replacing the part.

Had a gas boiler service by Chris at First Fix heating. Great chap. Really knew his stuff with the system. Not only did he do the service, he found a leak in our expansion tank on the hot water system. And also optimised the boiler for us to be more efficient. I cannot recommend First Fix heating and Chris enough. Really excellent work.

Without doubt the best plumber we’ve ever had. Since install, our underfloor heating had never worked in quite the right way, but after a few hours Chris had it balanced, working more efficiently and within 24 hours the house was toasty warm. He’s a wizard. Why can’t more tradespeople be like Chris??

Out of at least 5 other quotes (and several from large, well known companies), Chris was the only one who spent time trying to figure out the best solution for our boiler issue, and he then fitted the new boiler with extreme professionalism, and always with a smile! Absolutely amazing work! Once you have had a job done by Chris Boyle of FistFix Heating, you will never again use any other heating engineer or plumber! Chris's knowledge and experience is really extensive in every aspect of the plumbing and heating spectrum, including all the brands of appliances and equipment, and he keeps up-to-date on all the latest technology. He will explain it all to you too, so you will understand exactly what's going on and be able to make choices with his advice. Chris's work is superbly tidy and geared toward attractive presentation, as well as top efficiency. He also carries out all sorts of related work, like drilling walls and plastering, and uses electricians, carpenters etc where necessary, all appearing on the site seamlessly, with no responsibility on the customer! Nothing is too much trouble! Well, you have been lucky enough to learn about this company, now act on it! You'll be glad you did!

Superb service, quality and value. After 30 years our old boiler finally gave up the ghost. Chris came around that evening to provide a quote. He took great care in looking at the current system and advising on appropriate updates. All were sensible and as we had anticipated. Chris started work immediately on the Sunday and was totally professional throughout. Chris takes great care in his workmanship, is very clean in how he works (blankets down/covers on shoes etc.) and completed many little additions as part of his work that meant the overall job is perfect. We now have a silent and highly efficient boiler (Viessmann - look them up) with a perfectly balanced system. All the rooms are at an even temperature and easily controlled. We couldn't recommend First Fix Heating more. We are delighted with the heating system and all done at a very reasonable price.

Chris was superb. We originally had another company come out and they told us it would take 7 days to get a spare part. After 7 days they said it would be 9 days, so we called Chris from first fix on a recommendation from a friend. Chris came out the same day, with the spare part and fixed our boiler. Thought my boiler was a goner, but Chris stepped in (at very short notice, and on a weekend no less) and within a couple of hours had me back up and running, leaving me safe in the knowledge that my trusty combi was working safely and efficiently. Chris definitely deserves 5 stars. He has helped us out immensely recently, knowing that after a week of work on our boiler by another company it had given up the ghost and needed replacing urgently. Overall an excellent service provided by a highly diligent, conscientious and skilled individual whose work and conduct was exceptional throughout. I highly recommend Chris at FirstFix Heating after our conventional boiler system was replaced with a combi. On his first look at the job he looked at a lot of detail on the current layout of the house and what we wanted giving a comprehensive and very reasonable quote for the work to be carried out. All the way through he kept me informed of what work was being done and the plan of action so I knew what parts of the house he was working on and what work was being done and why. This made me feel that I had a good understanding of the work being done throughout. He was exceptionally neat and tidy throughout and was very helpful with his advice. He also took the time to teach me how to use the system properly and the whole house feels much more toasty after his work. He also added a water softener and power flushed the system as well and all of his work looks really neat and tidy with the new pipework being specifically routed so that it could not be seen throughout the house. We are really pleased with his work and will certainly use and highly recommend the services of FirstFix heating in the future.

From the outset, Chris was efficient and professional. My initial enquiry was in he Christmas holidays and he answered and booked in to survey the heating system here. He was on time, polite, knowledgeable. Immediately he recognised we needed a new system. Which thankfully he was able to quote for almost immediately, and Two days later was fitting it. He always wore overshoes. Protected all our floors and work surfaces with protective sheets. He worked quietly and efficiently and cleanly. There was no mess. He clearly knows his trade brilliantly. I have had endless problems finding someone reliable over the years but can finally say that Chris Boyle at first fix heating is the answer to all of this. Brilliant. We have endless hot water and a warm house. Thank you Chris.

We contacted Chris for advice on fitting another radiator in our cold living room. He replied very quickly, came out and offered his advice and other suggestions on keeping the house warm. Following receipt of the quote he came and fitted a new radiator, phoning us on the day to let us know what time he was going to arrive. He is a very neat and clean worker, friendly and helpful and at a good, fair price too. It has made a big difference to our living room which is now lovely and toasty! I would highly recommend Chris to anyone as a reliable and honest tradesman and would definitely contact him again for any other issues.

Chris came out at 8pm although he had worked all day and was very polite efficient and knowledgeable. He managed to fix the problem with our central heating system very quickly after being without heating for 5 days. Outstanding communication, workmanship and service from start to finish. They say that first impressions count, and rom the very first contact we had with Chris we found him to be fantastic at responding promptly anytime we had reason to contact him. On arrival to quote for the job (moving the boiler into the loft) he brought his own shoe covers and was extremely personable and friendly. He talked through exactly how he would suggest that he completes the job in a simple to understand way and ensured we were comfortable with what he was quoting for before he left the house. We received the quote very soon after his visit and it was a very reasonable price too. We had asked for the quote to be broken down into separate parts so we could decide what we could afford and Chris happily did this. We are a family of four, with two teachers and a 7 and 9 year old and it happened we were all on school holidays when Chris was working on the job so we saw a lot of his work first hand. Chris works his socks off! He was in the house for four days straight and was able to get the job done creating minimal disruption for the household around him. He was fantastic at answering questions from both the adults and children and was really pleasant to have around the house. He really takes pride in his work and his workmanship was outstanding, never cutting corners We would highly recommend Chris and have already had him quote for our next project!
