I have used these guys for one commercial installation and one residential installation. Very high-quality range of products available to suit all budgets, The projects have been well planned and perfectly executed. Very courteous and attentive installation teams have attended the sites. Further maintenance have all been efficiently done. They have even returned very promptly to deal with any manufacturing warranty issues. Highly recommend.

Professional company and a fantastic installation team

Absolutely perfect installation in my Hampshire home, of a two split system. Good market-consistent price, with high quality work. Actually the installation quality was better than I had expected--I already knew they were very good from YouTube videos. They are clearly aiming at real quality work for genuine word of mouth success. They deserve every penny of profit above the cost of the units--it is very skilled work with specialist tools.

The whole process went extremely smoothly - initial quote, in-person survey, adjustment to quote, final agreement, and then installation. Everything was done on time, and the installers were very professional and worked hard from 8:00am to about 3:30pm. They left the place clean and worked to a very good project plan. I would highly recommend Sub-Cool FM for your air-conditioning needs.

Subcool installed ASHPs in my house on two different occasions (did the front and back of house two years apart), as well as yearly servicing. Always found them polite, efficient, and friendly.

Just had a 5 unit split system installed by Sub-Cool FM. The end to end service has been so customer focused. The design solution was very streamlined/smart (compared to others I received) meaning I know I got great value. The install team were faultless: polite, clean and professional. Exceeded my expectations. Super happy and would highly recommend.

My experience with Sub cool has been exceptional. I will be using them for all my future air conditioning needs. My only regret is I didn't use them first.

Yearly service of my AC units carried out by Sub-Cool. Ryan arrived on time and immediately removed his shoes ✔️ really pleasant guy and was very thorough in checking and cleaning the units. Here for 2 hrs enjoyed chatting to him whilst he worked. Reasonable price so well done Sub-Cool and special thanks to Ryan hope to see him for next years service.

EDIT: Sub-Cool's response below is factually inaccurate, which makes me even more confident in my rating. I'll leave it at that. Shortly after installation, a third-party electrician inspected the units and flagged the work as unsafe. He even refused to issue an EICR certificate as a result. When I raised these safety concerns with Adrian at Sub Cool FM, he completely dismissed them, claiming they ‘always do it this way’ and had never had an issue. Disregarding a safety warning from a certified professional is unacceptable. Because Sub Cool FM refused to take accountability, I was forced to pay hundreds of pounds out of pocket to bring the installation up to code. Beyond the safety failures, the customer service was consistently poor. Adrian, in particular, was difficult to deal with; he acted as if he were doing me a favor rather than providing a paid service. While I had a good experience with the folks who actually did the installation and later on fixed up some cosmetic damage, I cannot recommend a company that compromises on safety and lacks basic professional courtesy.

Super efficient company, arrived on time, gave the quote, fitted within a month, polite and professional team whilst friendly too. Improved our office no end.

Needed a company to quote for air conditioning for our house and found Sub Cool Fm and thank goodness we did there work ethic is exceptional from quote to finish of installation , the team assigned to our project Corey and Tom worked cleanly and diligently to complete the job to a high standard if your thinking of getting air conditioning this company should be on top of your list

Very pleased with the two units installed this week. Nick, Zach & Corey have been very professional. They are polite and very quick workers. Cleaned up after themselves better than I would have. They set up the WiFi and explained all the functions clearly. I would fully recommend them.

hello I just wanted to Thank you all for the amazing service and efforts your team has provided. The installation of my split Panasonic unit was finished today and the installation has exceeded my expectations. I’m pretty fussy with the aesthetics of my house and hate wires etc! Zach and Nick have been really considerate to my requests along with my family and home. Although we haven’t yet sorted out the WiFi connection side of things ( we presume it’s a Panasonic issue) I appreciate your tech guy coming out to try and fix the issue! I hope it will get sorted eventually as it’s a nice extra feature to have. Apart from that I really appreciate Zack and Nick’s care and quality and cleanliness of work. Originally we wanted to install an air- conditioning unit in the bedroom, but because adding an additional unit in the living room wasn’t hugely expensive we decided on both floors. Installation was very quick, although the lead time was about 2 months due to demand. We only had a good and professional experience with Sub- Cool and we’d definitely recommend them- worth a wait!

Wonderful communication with Johnathon in the office about installation and our engineer Zach Bowring is a credit to the company. Fast, efficient and friendly. Great unit and has made a massive difference in our office environment.

Emailed this company twice regarding 3-4 indoor units no response, I then tried calling them twice both times no answer. I think the owner is too busy trying to look good for the camera doing blogs and YouTube videos talking about it rather than actually doing work.

The company owner came out (not all of them do), gave us different (better) advice than anyone else, a significantly better price and the guys who installed worked flat out, were polite and did a perfect job. Fantastic experience from the whole team. They were attentive from point of contact, right the way through to after the installation. The turnaround from enquiry, to contact, to survey, to quote, to install was extremely fast and professional. The unit looks great and the level of workmanship was very high. In addition to taking the time to answer our questions, they gave us really helpful training on getting the most out of the newly installed system. A breath of fresh air having had some so-so experiences with installations companies/tradespeople.

First class service! I can't recommend Sub Cool enough, I have a commercial kitchen and the heat was becoming unbearable through the summer. the guys came and gave me a rough quote for the A/C unit and a few weeks later came and installed it. I couldn't believe how un-intrusive the installation was, no fuss, no mess and barely any noise considering they have to drill through the wall. Warren was excellent in showing me how it all worked and hooking it up to the wifi so I can control it from home. Had the invoice through shortly afterwards and it was exactly what the initial quote had been, no hidden charges! Overall an excellent experience with Sub Cool and they will be fitting any future A/C units I need.

From my first contact with Sub-cool FM to the commissioning, testing of the installation and hand-over, I can say that my experience as a Sub Cool FM client has been absolutely flawless. Jacob did the initial visit and quoted for an in-ceiling unit in the loft space. Rather than seeing technical hurdles like some of his competitors, Jacob’s can do attitude and personable character transpired from the initial contact. Jacob offered me different options to choose from, without trying to push one in particular, and his pricing was very competitive. After the survey and ordering, the anticipated installation came. Sub-Cool FM’s team of installers could not be more professional and helpful. They discussed with me all the final options to make the best possible installation, even if it was far from the easiest. For instance, they built a special platform to sit the unit on in the eave space to make the installation and future access easier. They did not rush the job and I can honestly say that the quality of installation exceeded my expectation. They were very meticulous. My Thanks to Jacob and his brilliant team of installers: Andy, Ryan, Warren, Ken & Zac who have been working on the project. If I could give them a 11/10, I would!

Brilliant service, quality and price! I met Jacob the same day that I made my enquiry and was immediately impressed with the obvious knowledge he has on his specialism, about which he is passionate! I had previously contacted another local company to visit to quote for our business but was surprised that over the ‘phone they arrived at a price of over £3,000 for a fairly low spec Fujitsu system. Needless to say, they didn’t make it any further in the race! Jacob visited, did a thorough site survey and we decided to take his professional advice and went for a top of the range Mitsubishi unit with the best Zen head unit. I have previously had a Mitsubishi heat pump installed at our other home and in eight years there was not a single fault, so prior knowledge and experience made sense with Jacob’s recommendation. The system was installed by a great team of guys, thank you Andy, Ryan and Warren for an outstanding job, we are thrilled. Every aspect of their work was professional, clean and faultless. The handover was clear and I know if I have any questions down the road, they will be there. Oh, finally, these guys were several hundred pounds less expensive than the other lot, and for a top of the range product! Honestly, don’t bother looking anywhere else, it won’t be necessary! Enjoy!

Remembering the hot period last year (2018) we decided to have two domestic a/c units fitted early in 2019 - a couple of super silent (keep the wife happy) Mitsubishi units which performed brilliantly during the recent hot 30 deg + spell we have just had - so very pleased I had it done, particularly as Jacob was an aircon information centre and had an answer to every query I had prior to installation and provided me the peace of mind to go ahead - in short a great company to deal with at sensible price levels backed by a professional installation team - whenever I need a/c again I wont go anywhere else as Sub-Cool FM ticked every box and more.

I was looking to have A/C installed in my London flat and had quotes from a few companies but decided to go with Sub Cool FM because it was immediately obvious from meeting Jacob that he is passionate about his work and a bit of a perfectionist. Small touches like the pure white trunking rather than the usual industrial 'cream' make a big difference to the aesthetics in a residential install. They even painted the retaining screws white to blend in. I was given a choice of various options at different price points and ended up opting for two Mitsubishi Electric Zen units. The installation took 3 working days - the team were friendly and professional. They put protective matts down to protect the floor and tidied up any mess before leaving. During the recent 33c heatwave the units performed amazingly. Having used a noisy portable AC previously I am staggered at the difference in noise levels and performance. They zen units themselves are virtually silent if the fan is on low and the outdoor condenser is also whisper quiet which is important if you want to keep the neighbours happy!

Sub-Cool FM have been a great credit to my building company for the coffee arabica coffee chain. Crawley, Brighton, Horsham, Welling, PettsWood & Ipswich all have Sub Cool FM A/C units. We chose them over others for one simple reason, Jacob is in love with his industry. We looked him up , reading his blogs, he was true to his word Jacob is quite clear in how the costs of different units can catch up with you in later years VS usage & performance. He offered us best in class Mitsubishi Electric units, where others offered lower budget Mitsi heavy for the same price. Every site Jacob Ran like clockwork, even reminding me of my army days. They were fist on site on each job, & last to leave. Always flexible, and never complained.We would recommend them to anyone who wants an honest company, which is willing to go the extra mile, even on a Sunday evening
