Wow, Simon is amazing, very thorough, very professional and very clean and tidy. Most definitely the best heating engineer we have ever had! I can wholeheartedly say we will be booking him again in the future

We have had the boiler, hotwater tank replaced and resited, very pleased with how the work went. We have also had all the radiators replaced and again the engineers were of high standard, friendly and helpful. Before this work took place we had a number of issues all of which were quickly resolved by this company. Would definitely recommend Active Heating. We had a major leak in our Scout Hut kitchen and toilets—water everywhere! The young people thought we’d installed a new indoor swimming pool and found it hilarious. Thankfully, Active Plumbing Services came to the rescue. Helen answered the phone and was incredibly helpful, taking our details and getting an engineer scheduled quickly. By the end of the week, the leak was fully repaired, the “pool” drained, and we even had a new tap installed to help prevent future issues. As a Scout Group, we couldn’t recommend the team at Active more highly. Friendly, efficient and reliable—exactly what you want from a plumbing company. We’ll definitely be using Active again for any future plumbing needs!

Brilliant Service from Active Heating and Plumbing, we had a leak in the shower and needed a quick fix. Tried a number of plumbers but Active Heating and Plumbing cam back to me pretty much immediately and delivered great service by a getting the part we needed by special delivery and got someone out to fix the problem. Great Service overall. Not had a problem since. Will definitely use them again when needed.

We recently had an issue with our shower that was ‘unexplained’ and so we’re worried of escalating costs. AHPS were brilliantly at diagnosing the problem, providing a very reasonable quote and getting the work done in a timely manner. Our engineer Al, was courteous and really helpful. We will definitely be using their services again.

I contacted Active Heating for some work to be carried out. Lewis came around and he explained what he would be doing. He did a great job running in some pipework. He left the area clean and tidy. Lewis was very polite and respectful. There was good communication with the office keeping me informed of timescales. Definitely a company I would use again.

Would like to express what a great experience we have had using Terry and his team. They have looked after me and my family in regards to our boiler maintenance. Very approachable, friendly and always get the job done.

When my elderly in-laws' boiler broke just before Christmas, their energy provider offered a rushed, one-size-fits-all solution which really wasn’t suitable for what they needed. I contacted Active Heating and was impressed by how comprehensive their site visit was and that they took the time to really understand the requirements whilst explaining the options clearly. Though slightly more expensive, the Active Heating solution was far more comprehensive with no hidden extras. Their care, professionalism, and quick follow-up were outstanding. I’d highly recommend Active Heating for honest, high-quality domestic or commercial work.

After being with them for many years have decided to go else where.Complete miscommunication to engineer's as to the problem meant all one engineer did was use my toilet and confirm what I had already told him and I was charged for that.

Company let down by office team. Invoices overcharged on multiple occasions, key information not passed to engineers and rude in communication.

I had cause to speak with Active Heating over the Christmas period and I was very pleased to reach them almost straight away by phone and actually receive some top advice immediately which actually negated the need for a callout - honest, helpful advice!

I contacted Active Heating Services on behalf of my parents whose oil boiler wasn't working. It was a Friday before a Bank Holiday and they had been without it for a few days as my Dad thought he could sort it himself as he has done in the past, The Active Heating team were fabulous, within a couple of hours they had visited and fixed the issue. My mum was so relieved that she didn't have to go to the gym to shower, and although his pride might have been a bit dented, Dad has stuck the number on the fridge for 'next time'. It was a huge step for them to call someone in as Dad for years has always fixed most things, but is starting to struggle. Active Heating showed them that these issues can be fixed easily and stress free, so a huge thankyou to Alan, Debbie and the team for a professional, quick and honest service.

An excellent reliable Heating and Plumbing service, run by Alan and Debbie Carter, a family business with high standards. They provide an excellent service, which includes their excellent service plan, which knocks the spots off British Gas. Very happy with the service I received from Active Heating. From taking the call to the engineers rectifying the fault, the service was efficient and friendly. the engineer was also very helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and clients.

Six painful years of disservice! Active Heating was very happy to sell us a boiler and install it for £5000. No problem with that. Boiler that they recommended and had a five year warranty, as long as it was serviced by them every year, began to give trouble after a year. We happily paid for the servicing every year and the boiler invariably broke down almost every one of the following five years. Trying to get this company to service the boiler that they installed was almost impossible. They generally showed up after two or three weeks of badgering. Meanwhile, our 3 children were freezing. We were told by Debbie that it was too much trouble to service us as they were too busy. They had done 4000 installations over the years. We finally gave up and hired someone else. They said that the boiler was broken due to improper servicing by Active Heating.

They have damaged the boiler during service. Although they have attempted few times to repair it they never did. Ended up with buying a new boiler...

I has a leak on my radiator valve. Instead of draining down the whole system to fit a new valve, Simon was able to change the o-ring without any fuss. I was very impressed.

Always thorough and excellent customer service

Active Heating Services caused an oil leak during a service and charged me to come back and repair the leak. They claimed that the oil feed was in poor condition that caused the leak, however this should have been inspected and put right during the service as it was at the point of entry to the boiler. I would strongly avoid AHS based on this.

We've been with Active Heating for many years. Great peace of mind, as they look after our central heating and boiler maintenance on a service contract. Very friendly and professional staff. They recently installed a shower and this excellent job was done very promptly.

Had to call Active Heating out today as had issue with boiler. Arrived within a couple of hours and all fixed. Great service
