Last year I was lucky enough to win a competition for a free aircon system installation to be fitted worth £2000. After some ill health and cancellations, it was arranged for it to be fitted on 19th Dec. To find that the system was AAA+ rated was very reassuring especially with the energy ratings rising all the time. This also acts as a heater and it cheaper to run than central heating so if there’s just me in the room I turn this on instead of heating the full house. It’s amazing and I can not wait to use it during the summer months. I mostly work from home too and I am highly temperature sensitive because of my fibromyalgia so to be able to control my own heat while I’m working is a big thing for me. The lads who came to fit this were brilliant and so friendly. Everything was fitted immaculately and cleaned up and taken away with them. If you’re thinking of having one of these installed, do it and better still, make sure you use Coldtech Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Ltd for your installation. They’ve been incredibly reliable, handling breakdowns, planned maintenance, and installations without ever letting us down. Over the past couple of years, they’ve supplied us with brand-new Blizzard bottle coolers, glasswashers, a new cellar cooling system, and an ambient beer cooler—expected to cut our energy bills by 50%! Thanks to a £2,000 grant, we were able to cover the cost. Huge thanks to Coldtech for their continued support!

The West End Bowling Club worked with Coldtech after receiving a £2,000 grant from Tees Valley Net Zero, Decerna Project. To help improve our carbon footprint and reduce costs we installed an ambient beer cooler into our cellar. Cold Tec were great. Professional advice and installation was problem free. We have used this firm for many years and would recommend them to other businesses.

Had air con fitted in my front room in August. One lad came to do a estimate and check where pipes and units would go. Got my estimate within 48 hours. On day of fitting the two lads were on time. Kept every where they were working nice and tidy. Took all day. Very pleased with results. Happy humans and happy animals. Would definitely reccomend.

Having recommended by our neighbour, we decided to also use Coldtech for the installation of an aircond unit in our master bedroom. Billy and Dave came around to survey the site and offered great advice on available options and Louie promptly got back with a reasonable quote. Coldtech managed to fit us in on a bank holiday and we got to enjoy brilliant climate control just in time for the summer. The Fujitsu unit ended up having to be replaced due to a fault but the Coldtech team has been brilliant throughout. Tidied themselves after the job too. All in all great experience and would recommend!

Excellent company and great service. I am a small domestic user, but they don't make you feel any less valued than any of their larger commercial clients. Installed two Daikin units for me in 2021 and they have performed faultlessly since.

I had my bungalow fitted with full air con system last year, the engineers were great. I was glad to see the apprentice was actually being coached in the job. One of the units recently developed a fault, Coldtech came out and fixed the problem next day. From initial contact and survey to installation our experience has been first rate.We had air conditioning installed in our bedroom by Coldtech and it has made a huge difference to our quality of life.Coldtech were responsive,punctual,and the quality of work is excellent. We thought we’d be left with an eyesore on our bedroom and exterior walls as the room was not ideal for such an installation.Far from it-the design and quality of the system is of such high quality that we barely notice it.Highly recommended. Ive just had an air conditioner fitted in my living room to keep myself & my two house rabbits cool in the hot weather (don't laugh I love my pets 🤣) . It also acts as a fan & a heater! Its been nothing but FANTASTIC & I wish I had done it years ago. Very professional & friendly team from the fitting to the office staff . Cheaper fitting & running than ALL my friends thought too . Cannot recommend Cold Tech highly enough . Very responsive after service too!

Had an A/C unit fitted a year ago in our office. Great job, Good value and worked without a hitch for the last 12 months. Recently had a service to keep the warranty valid and again great experience.

I recently booked an appointment to have my refrigeration trailer looked at for a Monday morning. After driving 30 miles to get there, sadly when I booked my appointment and left my details, the girl in the office did not tell me there was major roadworks in the area and the main access route had a 5 mile detour which was very slow. After arriving at a very scruffy industrial estate dead end with fly tipped rubbish all over, I went up a flight of steep stairs where there was a small scruffy office with 3 staff in. I explained why I was there, and was abruptly told 'your late all the engineers have gone you will have to come another day.' When I had been a little late I'm unsure why the staff could not of contacted me and asked if I was on my way, or even have told me to allow more time for the journey due to the detours. Not a business I would recommend, to which if you do go there I advise you lock your car, or leave someone with it.

We previously had two engineers from other refrigeration companies look at our ice machine and mis-diagnose the issue. This cost us £00's in wasted call out fees and repairs which ultimately were not needed. We called Coldtech as a last attempt to get the machine fixed through a recommendation before purchasing a new unit. Coldtech were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and fixed the machine at a reasonable price. they successfully diagnosed an issue which two other refrigeration companies could not identify despite hours of labour time. We would recommend Coldtech to everyone in the future requiring any refrigeration work and we are thankful we have found them before spending thousands on a new unit.

Secretary Georgina correctly diagnosed my freezer problem over the phone and Darren came and fixed it at 7.30 a.m next day before we opened. Outstanding service. Hutton lane fish shop.
