Excellent service from Horndon Services. My Nest thermostat had broken, and they quickly suggested replacing it with a Hive system and booking a boiler service at the same time. The invoice was emailed over promptly, making everything straightforward. The engineer arrived on time, took his shoes off before coming in, and got straight to work. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and completed the job efficiently. The Hive installation and boiler service were carried out to a high standard, and everything was explained clearly and patiently. Outstanding Service and First-Class Workmanship After obtaining several quotations from different companies, we chose Horndon Services to replace our ageing heating system, and it proved to be an excellent decision. From the initial survey through to completion, the service was professional, honest and reassuring. Morgan provided a detailed quotation and answered all of our questions without any sales pressure, giving us confidence that we were choosing the right company. A special mention must go to Dale, who carried out the installation. His workmanship was absolutely first class. He clearly takes great pride in his work, and the quality of the finished installation reflects that. The pipework is exceptionally neat, everything was carefully installed, and he treated our home with genuine respect throughout the job. He kept the work area clean and tidy, explained what he was doing, and was courteous and professional from start to finish. The installation included a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 8000+ 30kW System Boiler, MagnaCleanse system flush, Worcester Bosch magnetic filter, replacement motorised valves, replacement pressure relief valve on our Megaflo cylinder where required, and full commissioning of the heating system. Our existing Nest thermostat was recommissioned and everything was thoroughly tested before Dale left. An unexpected bonus was that our boiler has been registered with a 12-year Worcester Bosch parts and labour warranty, exceeding the 10 years originally quoted, which demonstrates Horndon Services' commitment to providing the best possible value for their customers. As someone who has spent over 30 years in a professional career where attention to detail, quality of work and accountability are essential, I genuinely appreciate good workmanship when I see it. Dale's installation was completed to an exceptionally high standard, and it is clear that Horndon Services places real emphasis on quality rather than simply getting the job finished. Great service and reasonable prices. I called about a boiler issue and within an hour and a half of calling they had been round and cleaned the boiler up for me. They even explained what was wrong and how this would affect future use and how to maintain it going forward. Great after care too with issues. I got a message back at 9:30pm which was amazing. We had a new boiler fitted by Morgan at Horndon Services. The work was quick and neat. He even advised on changing the type of boiler we had ordered to avoid having to remove tiles in our kitchen under the boiler. Very good value as well. About £600 cheaper than quoted by British Gas for the same boiler. Highly recommended.

Enquired about a boiler service online got a response back very quickly. I was quoted a good price so went ahead with it. The engineer that came round was very friendly and professional and took very good care with my indoor only cats to not let them escape. They did extensive work on our recently renovated house, including: - Moving pipework for the construction of new walls. - Installing a hot water tap, showers, and a new toilet. - Removing the old sink in the laundry room. - Installing very heavy cast iron radiators. I visited my very elderly neighbour late this afternoon to find her house was cold and the boiler had a fault. HSL was called, Morgan was at the house within an hour and very quickly got the central heating fired up. Can’t recommend these guys enough! They moved and fitted our new boiler into the loft and did an amazing job. Super quick, really clean, and very professional the whole time. They even managed to squeeze us into their busy schedule because they knew we were without hot water – which we really appreciated. Very quick to respond and were able to fit my range gas oven the following day which was hugely appreciated as I had terrible difficulty finding someone willing to fit a range style oven. These guys were positive and assured me there was no issues fitting it. We contacted Horndon services as I had a leak in pipe under our bath as its caused damage to our ceiling in dining room. They were recommended to me, I sent message and the response was excellent. Morgan turned up with his helper a few hours later and he inspected the work and came back the following day to carry out the repair. Once completed and checked ✔️ all was good and so far no issues. Horndon services were very efficient they turned up on the morning I booked them but unfortunately I had locked myself out .. after sorting out my front door via a locksmith I phoned them and they came back within an hour and checked my gas appliances to give me a gas safe certificate. They were very understanding and very thorough got to give them 5 stars for excellent service.. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them very highly.

Needed help fixing my underfloor heating. Morgan responded to my urgent call and arrived promptly. I tried other companies and was asked to wait for a week or so in this cold weather. I was pleased Morgan and his colleague arrived in less than two hours after the phone call. He quickly identified the issue and fitted a Honeywell 2-port valve, which resolved the problem. Well priced, efficient & super helpful! Had a few issues with my central heating.. Hot & Cold rads , faulty thermostat, leaking filter, no digital heating controls, boiler losing pressure. Called Hordon Services from a recommendation, Morgan was very helpful and got a few things sorted over the phone until he could come out to me which was around 24 hours. Morgan managed to sort every problem inside of a day, fitted new filter, flushed the system, installed a Nest and all rads are now red hot and evenly heated. Top service!

New boiler fitted at very short notice after the old open vent boiler was not cost effective to repair. Morgan and his apprentice worked a 12hr day to get the new pressurised system up and running, which entailed relocating the boiler with a new vertical flue. The old boiler, flue and pump were removed and all made good. Great service, would definitely recommend.

Very responsive service. Following s report of gas from a neighbour the emergancy gas service shutoff my gas. Whilst I can do without baked beans i can’t do without a shower so called for assistance, they came the same day and isolated and capped off gas to the hob and reconnected the other gas.so we could shower. Returned two days later when I’d purchased a new hob, removed old hob and fitted and connected new hob. Really pleased with the job and would recommend.
