We can fully recommend JAC Air Conditioning Limited. Jay and Oscar carried out the installation of two AC units at Scribes in Billingshurst, whilst the business was operating. They worked efficently, without causing any mess, or upset to the customers. Attention to detail meant there was no need for us to follow up with decorators, when Jay tidied around one of the units, which had left a gap in the ceiling. All the works were started on time and finished on time.

After downsizing to a galley-style kitchen with south- and south-west-facing windows, air conditioning became essential. We contacted several local suppliers and ultimately chose JAC Air Conditioning Ltd. Two engineers visited to carry out a survey and worked with us to agree on a suitable installation plan for the kitchen, which included a Mitsubishi 3.5 kW unit. The installation was completed on schedule within four weeks and finished in a single day. The engineers, Jay and Osca, were polite, professional, and informative throughout, keeping us updated and explaining the work as it progressed. Osca was completing his first full installation as part of his training, under Jay’s careful supervision. Jay clearly demonstrated his expertise, and Oscars work was carried out to a high standard. The finished installation is neat, tidy, safe, and more than capable of keeping the kitchen cool. I have no hesitation in recommending JAC Air Conditioning Ltd. to future customers. Alan Jones

Update May 2026 - we were so pleased with their service and work on our previous (garden room) job that we recently used these guys again - this time for fitting AC in our loft room. We have found JAC to be an extremely knowledgeable and professional team. They offered several system options for our job, explaining the pros and cons clearly and then did very tidy work indeed. Communication was excellent throughout the process and we are delighted with the finished job. ------- Previously, JAC did a great job for us supplying and installing an a/c (and heating) unit for our garden room. Nicola, Jay, Doug, Oscar and the Team did a fantastic job installing ducted and wall mounted aircon in our home. We first engaged JAC a couple of years ago but we delayed for various reasons which was never an issue for the JAC team. Now all completed on time as agree. Tidy and professional work. Terrific experience getting home a/c system installed. Jay and Oscar visited to survey the house. The quote was prepared in a few days. Electrician was recommended (Joe) to set up the power supply. The entire job was then completed within three weeks of the initial site visit. Jay and Oscar were excellent. Clean and tidy whilst working. All outside pipework neatly enclosed in trunking. Indoor work was excellent, including running pipes and cables carefully through our loft space. Nicola has efficiently handled all the paperwork and invoicing. We're now looking forward to testing the whole system as the weather starts warming up! We'll see you again in a year for the first service! Certainly recommended by us.

So pleased with the service provided by Jay and Nicola at JAC - they have looked after our equipement for a number of years now and are knowledgeable with a can do attitude that quickly resolves any issues. Honestly this company are the benchmark for quality service. Nicola, Jay and in particular Doug have been nothing short of spectacular in supplying my new AC in my gym. Doug came and spent a long time with me very carefully measuring my space and came back with an excellent recommendation and quote. We have an Ochsner GMLW14 Plus.as well as an Ochsner Europa 323DK. Recently the GMLW failed due mains supply issues to our property whilst we were in North America. The Heat Pump wouldn't start due to being locked out. I contacted Jay via WhatsApp and that evening he reset the Heat Pump remotely and started it up. This is the best of the best support from a company that knows Heat Pumps as well as any in Europe. I would not hesitate to use the company for all of my Heating and Cooling requirements. First Class 1/8/25 Recently had 2 Mitsubishi aircon units installed by Doug and Jay. First class work in really difficult conditions installing pipes in garage, link between 2 buildings, underdrawing then loft space - all very hot and dusty. Very efficient at an affordable price, what more could a customer ask for. We would not use any other company for the provision and servicing of our heating and cooling requirements.

The wonderful people at this company came to our rescue and helped us sort out with our cold room system. They were very professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Really happy with JAC’s work. I got 3 quotes to install A/C in 2 upstairs bedrooms. JAC’s was the cheapest quote but still used Mitsubishi units. Doug came round twice before I agreed to go ahead, to explain everything and make sure we were happy. After agreeing to go ahead the works were booked in quickly. We were really happy with the installation. It was all hassle free for us and Doug made sure we knew what was going on. Everything looks neat inside and outside. We’re really happy and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend JAC - in fact we recommended them straight after the works were finished to a friend who is thinking about something similar.

I have an Oschner heat pump which recently developed a fault as one of the outside sensors failed. I was recommended JAC by Oschner and what a good tip that was..Problem is that I am out in the wilds of Suffolk so a visit was not an option but both Jay and Nicola have been brilliant, firstly sending me new sensors and then talking the installation through with my electrician...If only everything was so easy. The good news is that I now know just who to speak to in the future...Cheers guys...

Can’t thank Jay enough for his help with our Oschner heat pump. I had no heating or hot water for a week and despite the fact Jay did not install the equipment he stepped in and helped us out. Not only did he do this when no one else could (due to there being a lack of Oschner technicians in the UK) he done this free of charge. Safe to say I highly recommend Jay. Thank you so much!

We have a pair of Ochsner heat pumps providing district heating and hot water to 4 properties. Our original system installer has gone bust and so service and support has been a problem, however Jay and Doug have taken it on with enthusiasm. Our system has been virtually faultless since installation but it was obvious that Jay and Doug didn't just recognise the pumps, pipework and layout of the system, they also knew and understood how the electronic controllers should be operating which is key to getting the highest efficiencies from the system. The team were with us for a few hours and in that time we learnt more about our system than our installer had explained to us, and have been left confident that the installation is both safe and running efficiently We're really pleased to have found JAC Air Conditioning Ltd, I've spoken a few times to Nicola in the office to arrange the appointment and it's great to find a small family firm so focussed on customer care as well as their service provision. I'd have no reservations recommending JAC to anyone else and it's likely we'll use them for future work in addition to the regular service checks on our heat pumps.

From the very start, Jay was extremely helpful with listening to our requirements, the following survey and advising on our project. We wanted our system to be ducted rather than units on the wall which was a difficult job as our loft isn’t the easiest to access but Jay and Doug made no fuss whatsoever and just got on with it. Competitively priced too. Jay was also really accommodating as we had to postpone our initial install due to a family bereavement but again, not a problem for them. Install went well and we couldn’t be happier, a really professional job. Both Jay and Doug are considerate, clean and tidy, always arrived when they said they would and followed up after to check all was as we expected. Super company and highly recommended.

10.5kW 4-way Haier multisplit system. Very quick from initial survey through to quotation and having a working system installed and commissioned. The prices were competitive with all the various options explained. Doug's work (in the rain & shine!) and attention to detail were second to none -and the new wallpaper survived without a scratch! We intend to use the system mostly for heating but have not been able to resist the blast of cool air on some recent warm days! Looking forward to seeing how it all works out over the coming seasons. The whole system should run within the capacity of the ~4kW solar panels so providing the sun shines😎......

From Doug's arrival to departure the whole installation was carried out to a very high standard and ahead of the time stated and would recommend without hesitation.

Excellent service, helpful and considerate of our input during the survey, and installation. A very neat job even though this did make some of the work fiddly. Really good follow up to ensure we had no post install problems. I have added photos of our two internal units and the external equipment. The HAIER units are working beautifully and the quiet mode is a real plus for the bedroom. Voice control by ALEXA allows control of ON/OFF and temperature, and is very reliable. This company has now installed at both my house and my daughters, and no complaints, about the product, installation or the price which was extremely competitive
