J Hillier Air Conditioning Ltd.

We contacted Joe today in desperation as our Air Conditioning unit broke down in the middle of a heat wave! Despite there not really being availability at such short notice, Joe gave up his evening to help us. It was clear he is incredibly knowledgeable, capable, patient, and supportive. After identifying and resolving the problem, Joe has saved the day. Our bedroom was over 30° C, but with the Air Conditioning now working we will be sleeping in comfort again. Joe is so professional and efficient, I really can’t thank him enough for his help! Thoroughly recommend.

Really happy with our air con and the service that we received from Joe and his team, they were really professional at all times and his advice was excellent (he treated the project like it was his own house, a real perfectionist). Joe went above and beyond keeping us informed regularly and liaising with some other contractors that we needed. He was always incredibly helpful and flexible. 5 stars for sure!

Got my air con installed in less than a day and accommodated me so quickly, professional lads and would highly recommend!!

Joe and his team installed 2 outdoor units (1 each side of the house) and 4 indoor units (1 in each bedroom). Everything was fitted very neatly and quickly, given that there was a very old unit to first be decommissioned and new cables run from the fuse box (in 1 case to the other side of the house). The electrician Joe recommended was also excellent. Very pleased and we may well be back later to have another unit in the lounge (it can get quite chilly and these systems work very well at heating as well as cooling).

I recently had an air conditioning unit installed in my home dog grooming salon, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Joe was incredibly professional from start to finish. He took the time to talk me through all the available options and helped me choose the best system for my needs without any pressure. His knowledge and advice made the whole process really easy and stress-free. The installation itself was carried out quickly and very tidily, with great attention to detail. Everything was left clean and working perfectly. On top of that, the quote was very competitive, which made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend Joe to anyone looking for a reliable and professional air conditioning installation.

Fantastic service from start to finish. The knowledge and care shown throughout the installation was amazing. Everything was done so conscientiously with real attention to detail. They were incredibly polite , smartly dressed and arrived exactly on time. Their product knowledge was outstanding and they clearly take great pride in their work. On top of that, the price was very competitive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Had air conditioning fitted recently at our unit and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From the first contact to installation, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. The installation was neat and clearly done with care, and the system works perfectly. The team explained everything clearly and left the place spotless afterwards. would highly recommend to anyone.

Great service from start to finish. Friendly installers and the bedroom unit works great!

We recently had a ducted AC system installed in our loft conversion by Joe and the team, and couldn’t be happier with the result. Joe was proactive, professional and really went above and beyond to find a solution — even for a more complex setup that many companies chose not to quote for. Communication throughout was excellent, and the installation was neat, efficient and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend!

Joe fitted a new air con unit for me today and honestly, the whole experience was spot on. He was punctual, knowledgeable, calm under pressure and took the time to explain everything clearly without any waffle. The install was neat, efficient and exactly what I needed after a pretty stressful few weeks. It’s rare to find someone who’s both technically excellent and just really easy to deal with. Would absolutely recommend Joe and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

Office air conditioning replacement, Highly recommend this company. Great service.

Recently had a full AC installation throughout our property. 7 internal units in total. Joe and his team were fantastic. Went above and beyond with their attention to detail and professionalism. Left the house immaculate after they'd completed the work. Fully recommend their services. Cheers guys!

Had a Mitsubishi heat pump installed in my garden office to replace a noisy free-standing system. The new unit runs quietly and does not break a sweat, keeping the room cool. Joe and his team were excellent from start to finish. Friendly, professional and got on with the work with no fuss. Will definitely use them again when I install units in the house.

Recently had air conditioning fitted in my garden office and they've done a really smart job, all the cabling and trunking are super tidy. Joe was great from start to finish, talked me through the options, put together a quote quickly and answered any questions. Quote was really competitive for high quality AC kit compared to a handful of other quotes I received. A really good, genuine, local company delivering top quality work at a reasonable price. No hesitation in recommending! 👍

I had an A/C issue and tried calling the company that installed it a few years ago, but they weren’t helpful at all. Then I called Joe, and honestly, I wish I had called him first! He was super friendly and walked me through the fix over the phone—quick and easy. Such a good guy and really knows his stuff. From now on, Joe’s the only one I’m calling for anything A/C related!

A first class service from this family firm. They went to great lengths to ensure that the installation in our extension was perfect.

Aircon unit fitted to outside garden building and perfect results. Joe understood the requirements, gave me options on sizes and shared the pros and cons. V happy with the choice. Came and fitted all in as scheduled and left work site immaculate. Attention to detail really impressive. Unit even working via the app so can control the room temp before going up there!

Just had my air conditioning installed in our house and I have to say, Joe and his team were exceptional! From start to finish, I couldn’t fault them. Joe has a keen eye for detail and I could tell he worked hard to get things perfect. Very professional, arrived on time, left the house clean and tidy and always answered any queries promptly.

Chris and Joe did a fantastic job installing an air conditioning unit for us. They were professional and knowledgeable, and also just really nice friendly people. They worked quickly and left the place clean and tidy. We'll definitely work with them again, and happily recommend them to others.

Had my A/C unit fitted yesterday. They turned up on time and worked very professionally throughout the installation. They kept everything clean and tidy and went to great pains to explain and demonstrate the system.

Joe was recommended to me and was great from start to finish. Easy to contact and arrange appointment, very prompt service and extremely professional approach to the AC problem we had with leaking unit. Spent some time getting to the problem and checked everything. Showed me clearly what the issue was and fixed. Would highly recommend. Nick Turnbull Ampfield

If you are thinking of having an air conditioner unit installed, look no further! Joe and his team were so professional and did an amazing work installing a split mitsubishi airconditioner system for our home. Joe went over the different options and communicated throughout the whole process. They were also very kind to ensure all indoor work is done by the time my baby had her nap. The installation was nicely done in 2 rooms, and the outdoor condenser appears very neat, too!

Joe and his team removed the old bedroom air conditioner and installed a new multi split system with indoor units in the four main upstairs rooms. The system was very neatly installed in the loft so that the pipe work did not run across boarded areas, and exited neatly through twin trunkings down to the external condenser unit, with water condensate piped to a nearby gutter down pipe. The work was carried out very professionally over three days with up to four people on site, and the house was left clean and tidy every night. Without exception the team were pleasant to have around, and Joe himself was very helpful and meticulous in making sure the system was designed and installed correctly. I have no hesitation in recommending them, and would certainly make use of them again.

I can’t recommend JHillier Air Conditioning enough. From start to finish the guys were superb. Efficient, professional, meticulous to detail and considerate to their customers and property. The Daiken unit they fitted is incredible and has made our bedroom so much more comfortable in the summer and the winter. 10/10.

We chose J Hillier after reading the positive reviews and being a local company, and were very happy with the final result. Joe initially described the options available for installation of a split unit in our bedroom, and given a competitive quote we went ahead and the installation was completed a few days ago. Absolutely first class service from Joe and his colleagues, everything left clean and tidy at the end of the installation and we are very pleased with how discreet the unit inside and outside looks. Controls were all explained and the app now working perfectly, so we're very happy - just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit to really get the benefit! Very happy to recommend Joe and his team.

I contacted J Hillier AC about installing an air con in our offices and I am extremely happy with the end result and service provided. They were so professional and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy - highly recommend!

Our living room air conditioning unit wasn't working. Joe came around at short notice and quickly identified a simple problem. A less scrupulous tradesperson could easily have made more of it and charged us a lot. Also gave us some useful advice for the future. We shall definitely use him for any future AC issues.

Absolutely faultless installation of our air conditioning units by Joe and the team at J Hillier Air Conditioning. Joe visited us initially to go through the AC options including showing us the different brochures and the mobile app associated with one brand. The price was very reasonable and the team installed three indoor units linked to two outdoor units in a couple of days. Joe genuinely cares about the quality and neatness of the installation and communication was excellent. As a result we are extremely happy with the look of the trunking on the outside of our house which Joe managed to keep to a minimum. Internally only the AC units on the wall are visible. The AC has been great for keeping our house very cool and we are delighted with the products. Thanks Joe and the team!

Joe and Matt were very helpful and very professional, they made sure everything was right . Would definitely use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thanks to you both .

Supplied me with a portable AC unit while waiting for my new system to be installed. Highly recommend! Thank you!

It’s not often I leave a review but when a company does such an amazing job I feel they deserve the recognition. My mother had a/c units installed by another company who did an awful job and left everything in such a mess which was not only unsightly but extremely dangerous. They charged my mum over what it should have been and didn’t even supply her with the items they had invoiced for. J Hillier then came to the rescue. Not only were they extremely friendly and professional but they were knowledgeable and passionate. They acted quickly to make sure my mum’s house was safe, installed things properly and everything was left looking beautiful. All we wish is we had gone to J Hillier from the beginning. A wonderful team who know the industry inside and out. I can’t recommend them enough.

Joe of J Hiller has done a magnificent job with 3 air conditioners that, not only had been installed incorrectly, but looked hideous outside. Now all units are working well and outside is pleasing to the eye. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Joe came in to fix our freezer, did an amazing job and knew what he was doing. Really friendly and advised us for how to stop this from happening in the future. Very professional and would definitely use again and highly recommend! Thank you so much Joe!

Joe was so helpful when he came to visit! Really knew a lot about our daiken units … Will definitely be using again! Thanks so much!!!

Had a midea air conditioning unit's fitted Very helpful and talked through everything as they go along Would recomend with no doubt Excellent company

There is a reason this company have 50 (now 51) 5 Star reviews. You'd be foolish to choose a different company to install your heating/cooling unit! Feel free to pop in store and see their work!

We had some Air Conditioning surveys carried out on our property for a new tenant. Responsive and Friendly Company.

Servicing Office air conditioning systems. Clean, tidy and very efficient. Thanks guys

Joe installed a Fujitsu split air unit to heat my study during the day. Joe did a very neat job and it works flawlessly drawing less than 1kwh to heat the room for a day, and making virtually no noise.

I recently had an air conditioning unit fitted to my hair salon in Chandlers Ford. We wanted to be able to heat the salon in the winter and cool it in the summer. Jo listened to my requirements and recommended a unit that can do both these things. They fitted the unit around my business hours so there was no interruption and were very professional and ensured all the areas they worked in were left clean and tidy. The unit looks smart and modern and unobtrusive, we love it. I found the company easy to deal with, knowledgeable and really cost effective, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Have recently had air conditioning installed in my home. Very professional, tidy and knew exactly what was required for our home!

Absolutely amazing in every sense. Truly speechless! Hard to really express how good J Hillier is. Completely restored my faith in trades. I called Joe, desperately needing help having been ignored or told other companies were too busy. I have a home air con unit which I rely on for heat and it didn't work for 3 years. I couldn't find anyone to help me until I called Joe. Joe was polite, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, reliable....stayed in contact with me all the time. I never had to chase. This alone is a rare thing! He went over and above and exceeded all my hopes and expectations. I have a working unit now for the first time in 3 years and I am so so thankful to him. There a very very few companies out there this good. I would not even hestitate to call him again and I will be keeping his details to pass on to others. Thank you so much Joe.

Very Professional service from start to finish. Our bungalow is very cold in winter and hot in summer. We didn’t know which units would be most beneficial to our home. After explaining what we wanted to gain they gave very professional advice on two options. We chose Daikin units installed into 4 rooms. Very efficient, tidy, clean and professional job done by Joe and Chris when they came to install the units. So happy as it’s more cost effective for us. Would highly recommend using this company.

Great company. Professional Installation.

Fantastic customer service throughout, Joe was very responsive and took the time to really understand our requirements to make sure the right units were selected. The work on site was extremely tidy and well finished and the units work fantastically! Would highly recommend and will use again if we need a service they can offer.

Great service, had 3 wall units fitted. Polite quick tidy and did a brilliant job. Was advised on the units based on desire and budget. The system works great and looks brilliant in the house. The works outside to the condenser units is tidy and discreet, they used matching trucking making it look even more slick. Highly recommended

Joe and Chris installed a 4.2kw Daikin air conditioning unit into our South facing open plan kitchen living room. We couldn't be happier with whole job from initial consultation and quote to installation and completion. Joe and Chris are polite, professional, informative and have done a great job. We are totally enjoying being cool and would highly recommend J Hillier Air Conditioning. Thank you both!

I found Joe through a recommendation, I must say he is on of the most friendly, professional, knowledgable engineers I’ve met. From point of first contact to coming out fixing our AC unit was less than 24 hours. His professionalism has now made us decide to use him and his company to maintain and service all 12 of our units all done at an incredibly competitive price. Extremely happy all round. Keep up the good work

From the start, they were very responsive and helpful, thinking through different options and scenarios that fit well for our property. Would 100% use them again and already have asked them back to do quotes!

From design to completion Joe was more than helpful and explained every detail of the job to give a full understanding of the project. Work was completed to a very high standard and the house was left spotless. Joe demonstrated the use of all the units and functions as well as adding them onto our phones to use via the Midea app. Would highly recommend Joe and the team to anyone. They will be back shortly to add another unit in downstairs when our extension is completed.

I had such a great experience with JHillier Air Conditioning. They were really quick to respond and perform a site survey. Garden room installation. Very pleased.

Had a Daikin wall unit fitted in our Home Office last year. Probadly one of the best things we have done to our home! The room is south facing and it would be baking in the summer. This AC unit is so "cool". It also is great at heating the room in the winter. Also works with my Alexa. We had it fitted by Hilliers and recently serviced. They really know what they are talking about and a pleasure to deal with. Am looking to get them to fit a second unit soon...
