Jamie and Reece recently visited my home to install an air conditioning unit, and I couldn’t be more pleased with their service. They were professional, clean, and worked efficiently from start to finish. They took great care to keep everything tidy and completed the installation without any disruption. They were excellent in all respects - from initial survey and consultation (Nathan) to the office staff (Charlene and Lucy) to the installation team (Callum and Luke). The installation was first class and the guys were friendly and courteous and kept us informed at every step. Great job!

Detailed review (6 months after install) Midland Air Conditioning added 4 AirCon Units and (via a 3rd party contractor - MBSolar) a 7KW Solar array and 13.5KW battery to my home. Brand GivEnergy. The Air Con units were quoted and fitted quickly, with questions answered often same day via phone and email, my only short delay on install date was from my side, not understanding exactly how to pay! I have used the AirCon a fair bit and found the units quiet and very effective. If I ever move home I will be adding AirCon there too. The Solar journey was a bit more involved and not without incident. I had GivEnergy's package as above, while the size was great but I wish I'd understood more about the system and pannels; It's now the start of summer and the afternoon sun is on the other side of the house to the pannels, so i'm losing loads of potential energy generation each day. This wasnt picked up in the quotation process, but once installed I'm stuck now. I think I would have been better advised to install an 9 KW system with 4-6 pannels on my other roof. Giv do an 8KW inverter which would have been ideal. I have also had an issue with the system that during powercuts the battery would go into a safe mode, shutting down until fixed. This happened 4 times and needed 3 engineer visits, with parts installs, spanning perhaps 6 weeks. Because this was installed via MBSolar the contact was with MAC, but the issue was with the install / faulty equipment. I also noted that they phsically re adjusted the install on the 2nd visit, citing 'we've made a better connection' - or what I heard 'it wasnt done correctly 1st time'. Having now had the system for 6 months it's also clear my energy usage is between 10-20KWH per day, so I need to expand my battery storage, however I'm hesitant to do so right now after my experience above. For anyone else looking to get a solar system I would strongly council them to look at their peak usage per day rather than average usage - you can always sell to the grid, but buying electricty when you have a solar system will likely become very annoying. I gave the review 5 stars because i think MAC were flawless on their attempts to resolve the Solar issues, but i council MAC to avoid this combination of brand / installer until they can fix issues far faster. If anyone is looking for AC only, this company is superb. 10/10 would use again - thank you LB!

My whole experience with MAC from initial contact to completion of installation was one which lead me to feel that the company was very professional in all aspects. Particular thanks must be given to the team that did the installation, who worked on through conditions that were quite extreme. Super happy with the result. Great work from the whole team at Midlands aircon. From appointment through to installation they were perfect. Install is nice and clean, as you can see from the photos. Pipework straight up into the attic and out to the alley beside my house. I was concerned that the one unit would struggle with my large 8.8x5.4m attic room, but honestly it's fine. Attached a chart, the blue line is a thermometer on the opposite end of the room from where the unit is installed. So that's 25 minutes from 19.5°C to 22°C on heating mode. The fans are also powerful enough to circulate air around the room reasonably well. Will be in contact soon to sort out installing some more of them :) Edit July 2025: I ended up getting the whole house fitted with them, so we have 12 indoor units now. We've had them for a year, everything gets a solid recommendation from me. People complain about heat waves and we're comfy. There's a lot of value in a nice cool bedroom that is the same temperature year round.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. When Alan came out to view my property he listened to what I was looking for and explained everything really well. The office staff were friendly and welcoming and kept me updated regarding the installation so a shout out to Charlene for that. The 2 guys that came to do the installation Jamie and Luke were excellent. They spent the time talking me through the process and their work was very tidy and professional I couldn't recommend them highly enough. If anyone is considering having air con fitted then speak to Midland Air Conditioning.

We found MAC online searching for local installers and was impressed with what I read on their website. I did a quote for a single room initially and following a brief hiatus on the project got back in touch and spoke to a lovely lady on the phone (I now forget her name) who booked me in at a convenient time for a visit and assesment of the job by Anthony the company Director. Anthony was very helpful going through different options and we actually ended up going with a split system to feed two rooms (master bedroom and office). We took the plunge and couldn't be more happy with the service we received. Dan and Wayne were our installers and they were absolutely fantastic, installing the system without any fuss or mess. They were very helpful, considerate and are a credit to the company. We would highly recommend Midland Air Conditioning.

I found MAC to be a trustworthy company who were professional and courteous. Anthony, the lead, came home and explained the air conditioners (Mitsubishi) and the installation. Callum, who installed the air conditioner and Dan the electrician were excellent. Gareth was brilliant and even came home to set up the wifi after the installation. The price quoted was competitive though not the cheapest. I am very glad I went with MAC and will gladly recommend them to any one interested in air conditioners.

Had my aircon supplied and fitted a year ago by MAC (Midland air con) and it all went very smoothly. Just had my first service and once again, all went well. I can highly recommend MAC. Fitters and service personal were efficient, tidy and clean.

Excellent job! Can't be better :) Everything is finished and all work is carried out to a high standard. The engineers Mark and Alex were very friendly and professional and the installation is flawless, in both engineering and aesthetical point of view. There was no rubbish I had to collect after their work - clean, no boxes, not even dust from drilling! Excellent job! :) The price is a bit higher than the average, but it is worth it any penny. The warranty is comprehensive and hassle free as the company seems stable and will be there in case of issues. We 've chosen MITSUBISHI Electric and we are very pleased so far. I would definatelly recomend Midland Airconditioning!

5* service from MAC, Mike (sales) was extremely helpful when quoted, there was abit of a delay with the units I had ordered (no fault of MAC, just a supplier issue) so they upgraded my units to ensure these would get installed in July, fantastic customer service! Katy from customer service was extrmely efficient and prompt in answering all of my many questions. Callum & Tyler were really professional installing the units over 3 days, I literally didnt know they were there, kept me informed throughout the day and were so friendly, cleaned up as they went and finally Dan (electrician) was very efficient and they finished the job of installing 3 air con units within 3 days. Excellent Overall - House Installation. 3 off Mitsubishi MSZ-HR25VF 2.5kW units with WiFi & Remote control units plus a Multi-split Condenser unit MXZ-3F54VF3 wall mounted outside. 7 year Manufacturers Warranty + 12 month Anvillary Warranty included. Mike Sales was very helpful in the initial technical sales recommending installation options. Planning Co-ordinator Katy very efficient responded same day on emails which was nice to see. Installed July 2023 on planned dates - no delays! Two Engineers (Callum & Tyler) took 3 days + Electrician (Dan) 1 day to install system. 10 out of 10 neat installation - no mess / Like the black ducting externally. Recommend MAC - I plan to use them again when I do an extension.Units cool the rooms and perform quietly.

Recently had air conditioning fitted at our new restaurant and from the beginning of the process with Anthony coming to quote to Jamie and the lads fitting absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and it was fitted so neatly. Happy to recommend to anyone and use again in the future.

Fantastic company, I emailed for more information and they were happy to come out and quote me for the job, and give advice about what we should have. I had air conditioning installed by them in my bedroom and sitting room a couple of months ago, and the result is fantastic - I don’t know how I would live without it now. Everyone from the company was really friendly, from the engineers, to the people I spoke to by email to arrange everything. They left everything tidy and they worked efficiently. The air conditioning unit itself is great and the units on the outside walls are perfectly neat and not intrusive. Anyone thinking of having air conditioning installed in their home, I would say definitely go for it - yes, it’s an expensive thing to have done, but once you’ve had it you’ll never want to be without it - it’s life changing if you hate the heat as much as we do in our family.

Service was fairly smooth, a small delay between the quote and installation due to manafacturing delays. However once the work started the two guys I had, Wayne and Luke, were excellent. They arrived promptly and were friendly throughout. When there was a problem with the initial quote the team were quick and efficient at finding a solution that worked best for me without any additional charge. Very happy with the installation they did and it works great.

I chose to purchase and install my EV charger from MAC as it was important to me to have the installation done properly. My garage is detached from my house by some distance and my electrical distribution boards are probably not conventional by current new-build standards. I felt immediately confident from the initial sales conversation and I was able to choose the brand of charger that I felt would satisfy both my current and potential future needs, perhaps if I decide to install solar panels at some stage. The installation went very smoothly and the communication was great throughout. I have no doubt that my neighbours will ask me about my experience and will also be using MAC for the EV charger installations in due course.

We wanted a unit installed in our living room (residential). Great from quote all the way through to install. Really clean job, well explained and everyone we spoke to was lovely. Couldn’t recommend more!

I find it so rare these days to get a service as good as this was. I genuinely couldn't fault them. The guy who came out to price-up was really nice and we felt that he had time for us, to understand our needs and deliver on them. The installation team were even better, if that's possible! The lead installer was a great chap, extremely professional, took my concerns seriously and answered all our questions. They did a great job, the finish is really superb. The office always answer when you call, are very helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone I interacted with seemed to value my business and have time for me. They might not be the cheapest but, blimey, I have never been happier with a decision. We know someone who had a similar experience from them, so I doubt it's just me! I would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic service received from Midland Air Conditioning who have installed a 7.1kw AC system in our residential property. We would highly recommend them as the installation went very well. We were impressed with advice we were given from the company on the make and system size to go for and the the quality of the installation was superb. They even cleared up after themselves which my wife was very impressed with. The engineers were very polite, organised and professional. Absolutely great service from MAC. Thank you! 1 year update: During the heatwave on 18-19th July 2022 this system was able to keep all our house cool, it worked great mainly keeping the upstairs (3 bedrooms and bathroom) a cool 20c when it was 40c outside, we found that it also keeps it cool downstairs around 23-24c. Also MAC recently serviced our system and checked it was in good order, thanks again great service.

It's the second house that I've had air conditioning installed by MAC. The first units I had were Toshiba and got us through a couple of hot summers which were great.This time we had Mitsubishi LNs and they are fantastic. Amazing colours (we had red and blck units) and fully controllable through the app or a browser. Really good looking bits of kit. The install was completed just before the record breaking 40+ degree heat we've just had. Walking around a 19 degree house in a hoodie when outside was unbearably hot :) Professional and personal service all the way. Anthony said that he likes to look after his customers and he does, answering messages and call at all hours. He doesn't stop working he says, I suppose that's how you run a successful business. Would definitely recommend if you're considering air con and you really should the way our summers are going. Everyone I mention it to says they wish they had so why not just get it done?

Had a single-room wall-mounted AC unit install which was on the first-floor. Engineers on site were both professional and very clean with their work. No clean-up was required after they had completed their job. Job was done super neatly as well, with everything trunked nicely and outdoor condensor unit installed neatly against brickwork. Customer Service both pre-install and post-install has been fantastic and excellent. There might be slightly cheaper installs available in the West Midlands, but I have NO REGRETS going with this company, due to their warranty policy and quality of engineers/level of work + customer service. Been a pleasure and look forward to using this company in the future for maintance of my new install and possibly new future installs!. Cheers!

MAC are pretty close to where I live, so were a good choice from a logistics perspective. I work from home and during the summer was melting in my home office. I had been thinking about going for AC for a couple of years so had a chat with Anthony and the team. The one thing I didn't get was that the newer heat pump systems have a reversing valve so can be used to heat as well as cool. When they heat they extract latent heat from the outside air by the wonders of thermodynamics which I don't profess to fully understand. So basically you get more heat into the room than you put in to run the compressor and fans. What's wrong with that? Decided to go for three systems - one in my office, one in the living room and one in the main bedroom. All fitted and installed beautifully and their prices were very reasonable and also ahead of when I was expecting installation. From what I understand you can get a grant from the UK government for heat pumps but you have to lose your natural gas boiler. To me this seems inefficient. If we do have a nasty cold winter, I want a gas combi-boiler to fall back on. As the temperature drops, it becomes harder to extract energy from the environment as I understand. I don't want tepid rather than hot running water. To me, air to air heating and cooling in the main rooms makes sense. Especially with energy costs going through the roof and being as volatile as they are. I’m very glad I had the conversation with MAC. I can’t fault the installation at all and very pleased with the products fitted and service offered by MAC. If I decide to put more systems in, it will be MAC without a doubt. Very highly recommended.

I found MAC online and went onto their website as I was looking to have AC installed in my home. I am not good with technology so couldn’t got through their online domestic calculator, so I rang them to get quote. Anthony came out on the same day and gave me quote. I was extremely pleased with the quote I was given and finalised after 2 days. AC was installed the following day, I guess I’ve been very lucky. I was expecting cracks on the wall and a lot of mess. Anthony and the engineers were extremely professional and polite , specially Anthony ensured to make sure the work area was kept clean and disposed off any mess. They actually put sheets on the floor in both rooms and vacuumed after completing the job, I was amazed. Once they had completed the job they talked me through how to use the system. I am extremely pleased with the service and the system, If could I would give them 10 stars. I am sure if I ever have any problem in future they will fix it the next day. I would highly recommend them :)

Sourcing an air conditioning system for domestic use is not that easy so to find a supplier with an informative website is a bonus. I particularly liked the calculator tool which gave an accurate representation of the total cost. The company carries an impressive list of accreditations and they are agents for some well known names in air conditioning. Site visit sealed the job - I had a fair idea of what i wanted but the company rep obviously knew what he was talking about and I felt confident in placing the order. Fitting was a lot more complex than I thought, not that I ever would do this as a DIY task but the two workers finished in a day. It was a little disappointing that the electric hook up was not done at the same time but I did see the unit working on the first day. The electrician came the following day and completed the job. All packaging was taken away and the house left clean. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. Derek Barton

I have to say, MAC are an accomplished team and are professional at all levels. I have dealt with the before and after service departments and their friendly approach means they answer calls and queries directly and are there supporting me when I need them. Contacted MAC Limited for a quote, had a speedy response and a very good reasonable quote (cheaper than 3 other companies). The installation was explained, it was booked in within 5 days and it was completed in 2 days due to having it installed upstairs and downstairs. Wow! What a massive difference, really please on how professional the engineers and how clean they were when installing the equipment. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wishes to be cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Excellent Service - Thank you.

I have recently had air conditioning installed in my home in Sutton coldfield. I am super please with the result. 😀 I had it installed in my bedroom ready for the cold winter nights, It only took them a day to complete the job and it looks very neat I Would highly recommend Midland air conditioning.

MAC, through Alex, undertook routine maintenance to a home Daikin unit servicing the conservatory. The work was performed well by Alex. He was careful with respect to COVID 19, pleasant, and professional. While Katy, in the office, scheduled the work and kept me informed of any changes to Alex busy schedule. As a former member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services, I was very pleased with the team.

After calling the above company in the morning, Carl turned up early afternoon. Carl was very honest and explained that it was a simple issue (the filter needed cleaning). Didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need and was a very friendly and honest guy. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to use again.

MAC Midlands Air Conditioning & Facility Management Ltd has completed a fantastic job for us with fair, honest prices. They will recommend exactly what is required and will never try to sell you anything that is not needed. Brilliant job, polite manners from guys.

I first contacted MAC back in July 2016 because I had been waiting for our usual contractor to fix the air conditioning in the admin office for over 5 days. After being let down on other occasions by them (it was obvious that we had been let down because we weren't deemed to be a big enough customer) I decided to try MAC. They quickly responded to my email, which was sent to their sales email address, stating the problem. MAC sent an engineer out the following day who was ever so polite and got us up and running in no time. Since then we have used them to look after our office air conditioning and they installed 5 new units only last week. I am very impressed with the service from them and I would definitely recommend them to others.
